This warning from David Letterman to the media from just a year ago feels sadly too relevant today. He is right: You can't appease a tyrant.

I couldn't agree more. Decency, integrity, and honesty are out of the question for these losers. Since they're paid with our money and elected by voters, they should at least defend democracy. I hope each of their constituents realizes the garbage job they are doing and does not reelect any of them

The GOP members of Congress should all serve their next term in Federal Prison.

The decent judges of this country are holding the fort.

🚨BREAKING: In a win for Washington voters, a Biden-appointed federal judge dismissed the DOJ's lawsuit seeking access to the state's unredacted voter registration list. The ruling hands the department its 25th loss in its sweeping legal effort to access states' private voter data.

Q: You're speaking to the United Nations next week. What is your message? TRUMP: Well, last year my teleprompter operator was banned from the room. So I was standing there without a teleprompter. Isn't it nice? Q: But what's your message? TRUMP: Do you remember that? They turned off the escalator

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.
