In Finland for the second time and it’s been long enough that I had forgotten how angry this place makes me…angry at how much we sell ourselves short in the U.S. and actively work against building a society that protects the most vulnerable, elevates the middle class, and seeks harmony with nature

The shot on goal disparity between the #Avs and #Stars after that 2nd period is truly wild. Really great hockey happening tonight!

The Captain made it happen!!! 3-0 #Avs Bet that felt good after 3 years #Landeskog

O’Connor with a shot that breaks the sound barrier! #Avs lead 1-0!!!

What an end to the Nuggets/Clippers game!!! Granted it would have been nice to not blow that 20+ pt lead, but breaking the tie with a dunk at the buzzer was dramatic AF.

Avs/Nuggets double loss after the double win is just proof that Saturdays are far superior to Mondays.

The U.S. government is now on record as advocating more rigorously and effectively for a man accused of sex trafficking, rape, and assault (Andrew Tate) than for an innocent Green Card holder deported by accident. Having difficulty swallowing my rage 😡 😡 😤 😤

The first of what I’m sure will be many Constitutional crises. No one voted for Elon!

Very clear that Donald’s Ego and Idiocy is the real DEI and it’s definitely a problem for all of us.

Can you show us on the doll where the DEI touched you?

I love that I can exit Bluesky and return without the app refreshing. One of the most irritating things ever was typing a post on FB, exiting to look something up, and returning only to lose your entire post.

Slow clap for the great leadership coming out of the White House today. Always a brilliant move to sow chaos and uncertainty whenever possible 🙄

Do you think Anthony Kennedy ever regrets this world he created via Citizens United v. FEC?

This headline should read: Christian nationalists appoint sexual abuser and drunk to be in charge of military. Senate approves.

Dueling lightsabers with my son while watching Luke and Darth fight in Empire is the only thing I’ve ever wanted.

Why does Trump keep lying about abortion? No one wants to terminate after birth. That’s called murder Don, it’s what you’re planning to do to our country.

The spirit of anti-christ has clearly pervaded the Evangelical church. There can be no other alternative when calls for mercy from the pulpit are called Satanic by its adherents.

Certainly the true mark of “governmental efficiency” is renaming national landmarks and bodies of water, thus requiring the update and expense of changing the names on all websites and printed materials.

Very proud to be Episcopalian today

Awesome! Five minutes into office and Trump has already violated his oath to uphold the Constitution. This has to be a record.

Watching this Revenge of the Sith cosplay in Washington DC is wild

Being a father and listening to these words from the Hamilton soundtrack really hits home: “I’ll do whatever it takes (I’ll make a million mistakes) I’ll make the world safe and sound for you…” I feel like we as a society are actively failing our children. What is this world we’re leaving them?

Today feels like the path leading you to the edge of a cliff and all that lies ahead is wrapped in fog and shadow.

Final course: my bro’s homemade Tiramisu

Fourth course: Gorgonzola walnut salad

Third course: Borolo braised beef w/ Italian polenta

2nd Course: Tortellini (chicken, mortadella, pork, and ricotta) en brodo (broth)

It might be a little late, but regardless of when my brother and I celebrate Christmas, we always do it right. First course: homemade risotto with scallops and caviar.

In the middle of my first read through Good Omens when I see a headline about Neil Gaiman, click on it, and…the horror of what I read has me shook. I hate that he’s going to receive royalties from me. Need to return it to get the filth off.
