Fun find from 18 years ago. Miku was basically brand new back then. youtube.com/watch?v=bGPr...

And that’s a wrap on the Bigger & Weirder Tour! 90 shows this year, 165 in total. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to see us - we miss you already!

I wasn't ready for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to be over, but I finished it. Ending was crazy, though my narrative spidey-sense made me suspicious back in Cosmo Canyon. 2027 is going to be Final Fantasy: The Year, with VII Revelation and XIV Evercold coming out. Now on to the Ghost of Yotei DLC.

I love how Yamaha doesn't bother with hype and early announcements. Just yeets what would be an anticipated product over the fence and says "you're welcome." youtube.com/watch?v=4tYh...

A gift for your Hatsune Miku meme-making needs. #hatsunemiku

The Ninth Jedi is some of the best Star Wars in recent years, aside from Andor. It would be cool if it got another season. Easily the best lightsaber fights since the prequels.

Happy birthday to Miku

Someone in the livestream chat: "Hatsune Miku will return in Avengers Doomsday."

Magical Mirai livestream tonight \o/

The power of green construction paper and LED reading lamps.

Neat LPT: if bird...residue bakes onto your car and leaves a mark even after it's been washed smooth, it may come out by pouring hot water slowly over it. It makes the clear coat expand and contract, which fixes the disturbance in a lot of cases.

Splatoon Raiders is fun so far. I need more higher damage ink shooters though...having to use a brush on the levels I'm on is giving my index finger RSI.

Wishbone gave me spoilers for The Odyssey, years in advance.

Call center cat.

Maomao and Jinshi find treasure in a new original movie for The Apothecary Diaries on December 11!

It teaches dexterity and money management skills.

Nice. Weird Al's band is using Arturia keyboards.

Ooh, part three of the Final Fantasy 7 remake series was announced. Good thick working on Rebirth right now.

Never forget

Just picked up my new Civic Sport Touring!

Many of us could only dream of attaining this level of cool. 📸 chleemandy

Critical Role needs an "Only Teor is Teor" shirt for the new campaign.

Anti-noise ordinances are a direct result of not heeding the warning of the Beastie Boys. You do, in fact, have to fight for your right to party. 🤔

Car-wise, I've heard from the assessor it is officially being totaled and got a number. (It's fair and cites plenty of examples, but I would have liked a little more.) Still waiting to hear back from the claim agent to proceed. I also put down a deposit to hold a new car coming in.

youtube.com/watch?v=qiw-... This was my 2023 entry to the Miku Expo VR song contest. Kind of retro 90s Eurodance adjacent stuff. (Definitely some rough edges from being earlier work.) Streaming links: artists.landr.com/991043698470

Rescued the Miku fuwa from my car (and picked up my prescription sunglasses and other $$-$$$ things). Still waiting to hear from insurance. I called Friday, got a full voicemail box, left a message on the insurance site, and was told I'd get a call soon, but they're very busy.

most fun first two responses I could have gotten btw

Final Fantasy XIV announcement livestream today. Probably a new expansion. \o/

Appropriate temperature.

Miku Miku beam!

The concert was amazing. The set was more like Magical Mirai (I suspect the English-heavy list last time was because of Coachella), the new, massive wide screen looks stunning. It blends with the lights and set dressing, and is being used for additional graphics. (They did a great bit with a taiko.)

It begins...

(Meow Wolf in Denver)

Heading out to Denver for Miku Expo.

Miku V6 comes out the day I'm driving all day to get to Miku Expo (and will be away for a week). Hopefully any last minute issues will be fixed in a patch release by the time I'm back. 😆

McDonald's US has now managed to have Kpop Demon Hunters and Genshin Impact collaborations. Now give us a McMiku meal outside of Japan, cowards!

Was not expecting a Miku takeover of the YouTube logo for 3/9. That was a fun surprise when I was watching Critical Role.

New release: The Robots Are on Our Side ft. GUMI youtu.be/3fnmYqdANso Just some techno-ish stuff I came up with while playing with a TB-303 style synth patch, and it kind of evolved from there. I've always thought we have too many Terminator/RUR type films and not enough Asimov and Star Trek.

Aw yes. Birthday gift for after I finish Expedition 33.

Lady Gaga's new MAYHEM album is really good. It has a lot of elements of disco and 80s New Wave, but with a bassier, modern twist. A couple of the songs remind me of Eurythmics and Franz Ferdinand, two acts that greatly influenced my musical taste.

The Zombie Land Saga movie was exactly the follow up to the previous season that was needed. I'd forgotten how funny it was after such a long break. Hopefully MAPPA does another season.
