I used to look at an artwork I just finished and think "Uh-oh, I think I've seen this before... Did I accidentally copy it from somewhere?" I eventually realised that yeah, I actually did. I copied it from inside my own head. It looked familiar because I'd been visualising it for days.

When it first aired I used to joke that every Star Trek Voyager plot could be categorised as Alien Encounter, Subspace Anomaly, or Holodeck Incident. Just completed my third #Cairn playthrough, this time in Free Solo mode! Made it to the top with no safety gear. One fall was legit; the other, I asked Aava to drop down off a wall in the Wind Palace and she leapt backwards and tripped over a sarcophagus. :P

Finished the main story in God Eater Resurrection tonight! A long time ago I played the first two sections on my PSP with an import of God Eater Burst, so I did get to experience some new stuff. Not planning to do the extra Challenge content though. GE2 is next, maybe after Blue Prince.

Sad to hear of Steve Dee’s passing. I only knew him online, and did a couple of graphic design jobs for him. He always came across as passionate and compassionate.

Starting 2026 off by playing a PSP game on my PS5 — God Eater Resurrection. I played the original back in the day, but got 1, 2, and 3 when I first got my PS5 with an eye to playing through the whole series. Have now made it through the base game and started the expansion. My hand hurts.

And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, instead merged with the Puppet Master to form a new entity that propagates itself artificially.

Got back into BG3 and finally finished Act 2. Heavily focussed on Shadowheart’s quest, but every time something associated with Shar pops up I just hear Ozzy Osbourne in my head screaming “Sharran!!!”

Finally getting back to my first BG3 playthrough (somewhere in Act 2), and I still think there is way too much D&D in this elf-dating game.
