April, 1980, went to a convention of kid journalists in Seattle. Placed 15th outta 3,000. Seattle rock critic said Al Hendrix was in the phone book. Spoke to me for 45 minutes. Articles in 3 in issues of my school paper. Al said the usual stuff but when I asked he said that it was Jimi's time to go.

I voted today. It was my first time since I took a fall backward on Halloween of 2023 that micro fractured two discs in my spine to be in the parking lot near the place where I ran a food crew for years. The sunlight felt good...

LAPD gave me a ticket a mile away from Rockingham. Parking closer was impossible. I expected a token presence and the kinda gawking at Jim Morrison's grave. It was a beehive of activity, nice suits going through door, women milling around. To one of them I said, "Helluva place to pick up chicks..."

Previously Ancestry dot com said I was 1% Welsh. A real head scratcher. Next I was 1% Egyptian. More possible given the location of Sicily, but still kinda odd. Now I'm 1% Maltese. That has an air of mystery to it, right?
