Man, I wanna learn ARM assembly but I have absolutely no idea what my first project would be. Maybe a gameboy game?

It feels weird to miss a reviewer, but I miss when Dieter Bohn was at the verge. I missed reading/watching his reviews; me and my dad had been watching his reviews for ages together and after Dieter left, we both pretty much stopped reading lol

I think I like the review of the Steam Frame that put it this way: it’s certainly a nice device, but ultimately the issue with VR gaming isn’t hardware: it’s software Imo it’s kinda weird Valve didn’t have *anything* first party to launch with the frame and are just bundling Alyx.

The further I get in fleshing out my turn-based combat on paper, the more obnoxious designing the HUD becomes. This is by no means a favorite mockup, but it's PROBABLY good enough to use for a prototype for now. #aseprite #godot #gamedev #mockup #pixelart

I think my charge mechanic could be interesting since it allows you to augment your abilities or perform special skills, but you earn charge via knocking down enemies. It could make 1v4 battles interesting, but 1v1 seems boring since you can't combo off a downed foe (a la persona)

It may still need work, but at the very least, i feel like going to a single party member system does add a sense of difficulty since nobody can revive you when you're downed. At the same time, since I do intend to have important 1v1 encounters, there has to be a way other than making them summoners
