The people of Serbia celebrating the defeat of the dictator who held full authoritarian control of their country for nearly 14 years. This is what democracy looks like.

I might include this in my book in the section about fractal curve mazes. Any thoughts? (Expecting the book to be published in late 2027). #fractals #math #art #mathart #design #geometry #mazes

Your eyebrain cannot see both at the same time. Practice seeing blue as the foreground with yellow as the background and then switch to seeing yellow as the foreground with blue as the background and then try to make your eyebrain toggle between them rapidly. #fractal #design #illusion #math

Just an appreciation post for this guy. The COVID pandemic would have been far worse without Dr. Fauci's decades of experience as guidance through it. Had he been working under an adult president and not the child that presided over 2020, he would have saved even more lives without having to contend

I made this design last night. It expresses the watershed of a self-avoiding fractal curve I discovered. I might include it in my new book (coming out in a little over a year). Then again, there are more than 1,400 to choose from: I make at least one design every evening. #fractal #curve #math #art

This is a self portrait I made years ago. I used an image of my head as a reference for a genetic algorithm that evolves mathematically unsavory tweaks to the Mandelbrot set. I called it "Mandeltweak" in front of the man himself during a presentation. He was in the audience...snoring. I laugh now.

This image shows a discovery of mine: how plane-filling curves of the same family tessellate with each other. I plan to get to the bottom of this and describe it in my new book, "Brainfillers: the Art and Math of Space-filling Fractal Curves". It will be published next year by A.K Peters/CRC Press!

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

My artificial life simulation GenePool has been evolving for decades (in the sense of having gone through so many iterations), as well as these little wigglers mating and passing their genes into the future. Darwin's Chorus is the latest: Canton Becker turned it into a Darwinian musical instrument!

I have completed the video about Darwin's Chorus: an interactive soundscape artwork that was featured at Currents New Media 2026 in Santa Fe. Check it out! archive.org/details/darw... #evolutionary #genetic #art #design #music #audio
