VF5SS

On the one hand we lost Nanase but on the other Luca's problems get redirected to his sister. Remember that?

You don't really see it clearly but Alto's swim trunks are colored like his Valkyrie.

Alto reacting to the kabuki subplot's desperate last gasps.

Brera said Alto's body is writing checks that his heart can't cash.

I do appreciate the "everyone is more on model" glow up from the series.

Alto gets one more outfit and it's Brera cosplay. Also this is around when Big West partnered with the Tezuka musuem for art shows, exhibits, and merchandise so that explains the clips in the background.

I feel like if these movies taught us anything it's that Kawamori and Ebata are a terrifying combination.

Todays mech: VF-17S Nightmare (Standard colors)

Come on everyone, Valk needs a hand of hope

It's been almost 2 years since I started using my pixiv account for art (it's like Macross Frontier old tho lol) and I hit 100 entries. The 100th pic is a little bittersweet but everything will be いいよ www.pixiv.net/en/users/223...

Musaka da...

apparently *the* Jim Lee of DC not only knows about Umamusume but also cosplayed Roppei from Cinderella Gray at Cosplay Trackside crazy. Imagine a DC x Uma crossover. It's a possibility now.

have you guys seen this

Can't wait to go see this film!

Hasegawa box art is always tight.

"I'm walkin' here!"

ウマ娘4コマ(#1177)「より多くの書に出会うため…」吾妻様とどぼめじろう先生

Walkure! So happy with this full set of the girls 😍💖✨️ Now to hunt down the other SRs and Alt arts I'm missing from the #unionarena set 💕 #walküre #macrossdelta #shinycardboard #macross

Signing up for my patreon helps to fund more of this

IIRC some of these shots are definitely not in the final version of Wings of Goodbye. Not that gatling gun wielding Monster at least.

I have to admit that I didn't like this movie at first (out of an irrational dislike for recap episodes :v) but when I bought the big Frontier movie boxset I turned around it. It's probably the best action movie with Segways in it.

Mututal twinkspect 🤜🤛

This is just like Iron Eagle... 4

They gave Battle Frontier a lil bit more to do (before it gets dissed hard in the second film).

I forgot how nuts this finale gets. Alto gets shot down and recovers like 50 times somehow. Also he broke his EX-Gear and regular pilot helmet with sheer machismo.

The rare 2d animated VF-25 that goes right back to 3d in the next cut.

aw yiz

Shout out to my cosplay friends who have rocked this outfit.

Ranka's got a war face!!!

You know it still kinda bugs me that Sheryl wanted her big concert to take place in a... tokusatsu filming location?

She's just bookin' it in those heels.

I've never been a fan of the Tornado Pack although we know now it was meant to reintroduced the back turret setup from the old Armored Gerwalk and the VF-X-4 so we'd get the YF-29.

A Bat credit card?!

Ehh we still don't have that much more time or money to depict it but let's make Galaxy a tiny bit sympathetic.

It's the fun police!

Again, only a Pre-Blart world could have a dramatic start to a scene with a high speed Segway.

Congratulations Alto you're a lady. Or a newtype.

Cosplayers the day before the event be like

The Quarter got a minor update for the films. Its colors are brighter and the bridge cannons are more detailed. IIRC it didn't get another toy to coincide with this though.

It's funny how everyone knowing the Gallia 4 story cuts down on the need to tease out the mystery but still lets Alto act like the dumbass we know he is.

IIRC by this point the first Macross Zero blu-ray set with Sheryl's earrings retconned into the scene of Mao looking at a photo of her parents were out already. It still feels dumb they thought they had to do that lol

Is that an Ai-kun in your pants or- Oh.

Let's gloss over the fact in this version Ai-kun scurried around inside Ranka's clothes because this is still a 2000s late night anime at heart :v

Be careful of the leading edge of that wing! It's sharp enough to cut paper!
