The hotel link will now be emailed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12, at 7pm eastern/4pm pacific, to early con registrants. The link will go live for everyone else on the VGM CON website on Friday, October 16. Thank you for understanding!!

The con is nearly upon us! Are you ready to jam? At Jam Space, musicians of all ability levels and backgrounds come together and jam on video game tunes and other music.

VGM CON
@vgmcon.bsky.social

Don’t know how to jam? That’s okay – we’ll teach you! Jam Space holds workshops to educate and empower musicians curious about how to jam! Keyboards, amps, a bass, a guitar, and some percussion will be provided. Please do not bring amps or keyboards to swap in since space is limited!

We’ve been to a lot of conventions over the years, and we recognize the challenges that attendees face when selecting what panels to go to. Ehat if there was a way to know a bit more about a panel before you stepped in? This year, we’re excited to introduce a new experiment—Panel Categories!

VGM CON
@vgmcon.bsky.social

We will be using a simple, two-tier color-coding system on the printed schedules outside each panel room. So in addition to being able to see the time, title, and host of each panel, you will now see the Topic and the Format too.

VGM CON
@vgmcon.bsky.social

We hope that this system will allow panelists and attendees to more effectively connect with each other, so that panel rooms are full and attendees can walk in more confidently! Be sure to check out the full panel schedule online now!

@vgmcon.bsky.social

Let's face it - sometimes conventions get overstimulating! That's where the Sensory Sanctuary comes in! If you’re feeling overwhelmed, or just curious about it, this is a space for you.

VGM CON
@vgmcon.bsky.social

Are you looking for a way to perform at VGM CON? The VGM CON Orchestra Clinic is a chance for attendees to play their favorite tunes in a low-stress ensemble setting. There will be rehearsals each day of the con, followed by a performance on Sunday. All skill levels and musical backgrounds welcome!
