that's not to say that YA books should not have sex. it's important to have YA books with sex and that talk about sex!! but sex-y? implies titillation. implies being horny about teenage characters, which, for many of the people reading it, is kind of fucking weird

need a left handed person to split dishwashing gloves with !! i burn through right handed gloves faster than left and it would be great to swap some of my left handed stash for rights...

Did you know? One of the 2x2 flowers in our game #Floramino is modeled after hydrangeas! The color of real life hydrangeas changes based on the pH level of the soil. High pH level soil turns them pink, while low pH soil turns them blue! πŸͺ» #indiegames #cozygames #gamedev

there is something so romantic about writing someone's name as just a letter. like of all the people you know, *this* person is the one who gets the whole letter to themself. no one else in that letter category is worthy of such a title.

there's nothing like seeing a book's title change before it releases and you know it's because of marketing. like the original title was so funny and the author is so real for that, and then it becomes generic and sad for approachability

the popular example i can think of off the top of my head is Whet --> Deep End by Ali Hazelwood i've never read any of her books but like Whet is such a funny pun. i'm sorry if you think people don't know what it means but that's on them!! they should have left the title as is!!!
