Here we go #PoemsAbout #Hollow @thebrokenspine.co.uk I think of this as a posthumous collaboration with my good friend Ward who passed a few years ago. Also attached is a screenshot of a typical late night conversation. I still don’t know if he was messing or serious.

Wow! What a start to the newly remodeled Zombie Logic Review. Tré, Alan Summers, and now Martina Matijević. I really want to give each haiku poet their own space at ZLR. #haiku #poetry

Si muero, dejad el balcón abierto. El niño come naranjas. (Desde mi balcón lo veo). El segador siega el trigo. (Desde mi balcón lo siento). ¡Si muero, dejad el balcón abierto! Federico García Lorca 18 de agosto 1936 - 18 de agosto 2026 #inolvidable 💔

A natural and understated performer, Steve McQueen became the “King of Cool” and one of the world’s most enduring and popular actors. See some of his greatest performances today during #SummerUnderTheStars.

Today, I got an email saying that I received a commendation in a haiku contest — and then another saying that my manuscript was rejected. You win some, you lose some. As the great Western philosopher Steve McQueen once put it: "Groovy."

The perks of being a writer. Especially when it’s a poem about another person. I knew that by the time the poem would be published, I would be in a much better place than I was after the farewell. Then I said to myself, “Poetry is a unique type of testament to what one has gone through.”
