It’s that time of year again when I start getting text messages for the republican couple that used to have my number and died over 20 years ago.

It frustrates me so much when a site does a redesign and then totally neglects Safari. Like, it’s the second most used browser on the web at ~18% market share, and typically much higher than that for most people’s typical visitor share.

When I started this job I was told that On Call shifts were generally quiet with folks claiming they didn't have more than a handful of incidents in the 10+ years they've been working here. I've only had 3 on call shifts so far, and all of them have had incidents. ;_;

I really like being able to repair my own electronics. When systems are constructed of simple, modular components, it makes it so easy to troubleshoot.

When I was at Megaplex I had a weird interaction in the elevator. Someone started flirting with me while in suit, but after noticing my “I ❤️ Hot Moms” pin they dramatically announced, “Nevermind, he’s straight. We lost another one!” I pointed out I had a boyfriend and they were also mad I was Bi? 🤷

Whenever I get back from a con I always wanna wear my fursuit just a little bit longer…

I’m very open with my mom and at one point we somehow got on the topic of my sex life. The idea of being in a happy, healthy relationship with someone that also allowed you to sleep with other people was really foreign to her. “I don’t know if I could ever do it, but I’m glad it’s working for you!”

I sometimes forget that the BlueSky “algorithm” is literally just “these are the most recent posts from people you specifically chose to follow” and will often think to myself, “wow, the internet is really horny for [thing I’m really into] today!”
