I ended up binging Mike Flanagan's new Carrie miniseries, and I feel I really liked it, even with how much of a hard watch it was! The changes they had made to the story really emphasized on how much the company you keep can end up affecting you, even if you have strong morals and good intentions.

Other thing I enjoyed about the adaptation was how they built on the "evil" characters - everyone in the town had their own fears, struggles and clear motivations, even if they led to evil acts. And each act, attack or act of violence always led to collateral damage, no matter how "right" it was.

The way the show portrayed relationships as something starting from and based firmly on love but at the same time being incredibly toxic because of fear, manipulation and jealousy really struck a chord too. Also showing why people stay in those relationships, no matter what ends up happening.

So...after EF I decide that it's time to just try and make a #fursuit myself. And now, a month later, here it is!!! I made it myself AND in time for Animus!! I'm so happy! Finally I can be a bird!!!
