My lack of appetite has been a little dire recently so I decided not to go to bed until I finished my dinner & leftovers from previous days but it's been hours and still whittling away at this bowl 🤣 sighs but I can imagine the fatigue might be from just not eating enough anymore tho

(I don't have an ED though I just don't like eating LOL) I guess I can understand now how my mom sometimes only wanted to eat some oranges for dinner instead of a proper everything meal

my previous drawing screen (that I'm using again rn) had such a nice range of visible colours.. mobile & newer screens really ups contrast & blows colours out no matter the setting, but they're standard for digital viewing 🥲 a lot of my oc draws look colourless or vantablack as a result on em 🤣 🪦

If I could retcon & rewrite some of my AA OCs entirely to do without certain aspects, i would Why I don't beyond soft bg retcons is bc the character would change fundamentally in Everything it may as well be a new oc 🤣 The lesson is to focus on ur own foundation from the start without others..

So thinking back I'm actually So glad the geography split folks up from the beginning. But overall in rp it's enticing to interweave character histories BC that's the point of rp.. to interact and write together.. just, the inevitability of losing that other half makes it pointless in the end 😓

[AA/oc] cont rambling, the reason I've been contemplating apping Arietta into AA now (whereas previously I said otherwise) is because.. I'm tired of not having a shapelier girly of my own to draw in the group LMAO 🫪 But also since I mentioned this NPC So Often, I should make it easier to reference

Especially given that others have established relations with her.. and her npc-ness still being alive rather than hit by my 🗡️ is really thanks to said relations, I figured to make the most of it.. even if I have trouble rping her she's still easier then my previous sides (WIP from last month lol)

Meanwhile last/this year been happy to be getting draws & things done with my thembies (inis/hawo) (latter of which is just goofing off but) still a lil oof how often I dropped the ball for inis' stuff over the years but h.. heh 😶‍🌫️ Anyway with etta my roster makeup would be more balanced. Happy

[oc] Late night OC thoughts bc I can't sleep, but for a few years now I haven't remembered or written down my dreams. Relatedly, I haven't been able to muster writing for memoirs(lilinoah/zelder OU) as I based the happenings/settings off those dreams. The overall story goes on fine without, but

as a personal project themed on dreams it'd be losing the point to write without.. Anyway, it's just a personal OC setting that I wouldn't show most to start except as a summary, since (my writing's not great lol) it only matters to me. But I guess I do feel a lil sad reading back on older entries

Man i've such an awkward purple prose-y voice when drabbling more character-oriented stuff that I rly dislike but it's what comes out when I just let the pen go 😅 Definitely part of why I don't like sharing my writing LOL the cringe is too much 🤣 Oof at memorizing writing tips to fix all of it..

Ig also the distinction of drabble (introspection in a character's head) vs drabble (an outward moment/story beat) calls for different writing as well that in my rust I still have trouble treating differently, let alone longer form writes. Ah well just have to keep reading & osmosis how others do it

actually didn't use flowers for Wren since the bird has symbolism alread 🤣 (oops) If I join af again next year, I'd like to change it up & do more variety like chibis & sketches 🤔 hbs & busts with a set canvas size was fun but constrained since I draw slowly & doesn't suit charas sometimes ..

Also definitely want to draw more beasty / animal type characters instead of humanoids 😭 Or worm I guess) Iris was actually my favourite to draw this year LOL I'd actually scrapped a hyacinth sketch for her but maybe I'll just finish that up later for fun too 🤣🐛
