Over a year since my last post? Damn I am indeed still around, but I've just been laying off social media for a bit. I haven't really spoken much about this publicly, but doing NSFW art for social media kind of ruined my relationship with art and creating for ... well, years honestly.

It feels like I'm only now really starting to rebuild my relationship with art and reach a point where I feel comfortable creating again. I'm honestly not even sure what I want my relationship with art to be at the moment, but I'm also not really sure that's even a bad thing.

In regards to socials, if I make stuff I'm proud of I'll share it here. I have some fanart for other artists I enjoy in mind and also want to do some style studies to expand my skillset a bit. I make no promises, but that's where I'm at. If you took the time to read this, I appreciate it.

The self-imposed pressure, the obsession with metrics, drawing stuff I didn't even like or was proud of. I was genuinely miserable. I haven't been posting in the past year or so, but I've also not really been drawing either. I could probably count on one hand the number of drawings I did in 2025.
