How in the world -- or universe -- could this young boy be 90 years old?
These are not my typos.... They're all Trump's.
Dammmm.... Trump never tells the truth! He's planning to barricade himself in the White House (I call it the Whine House) until armed guards drag him out!
Right wing authoritarianism is out of style. Power to the people!
It is almost Halloween. That means trick or treating, and all that luscious chocolate. Of course I am getting too old for trick or treating, however I am big enough that I can mug the little ghost goblin and skeletons and swipe their bags to save me a lot of door knocking.
Manipulated? As in "Laying on of hands?"

The U N should crack Down on this terrorist threat
How do we right so many wrongs?
1/ A respected U.S. immigration judge says she was pulled mid-hearing, demoted from high-stakes detained cases, and pressured to reverse rulings under the Trump administrationโs overhaul of the immigration courts.
2/ Karen Donoso Stevens, 53, served nearly a decade in Northern Virginia. A former Homeland Security prosecutor appointed in 2016, she was known for following the law, denying asylum in more than half her cases (in line with national averages), and handling the courtโs most serious detained dockets.
3/ In Trumpโs second term, the Justice Department fired roughly 100 of the countryโs ~700 immigration judges and began installing โdeportation judges.โ Officials said they were removing โactivistโ judges; survivors privately described a โculture of intimidation.โ
4/ Immigration courts sit inside the executive branch, so judges lack the lifetime tenure and independence of Article III federal judges. The administration insisted judges remained independent arbiters. Stevensโs experience corroborated by colleagues, tells a different story.
5/ After Board of Immigration Appeals restricted bond eligibility, she granted bond in four cases for people who had entered as unaccompanied minors and later aged out. A supervisor called, said the cases had been โelevated,โ and relayed that โhigher-upsโ ordered her to vacate the decisions.
6/ She pushed back, asking why DHS couldnโt simply file a motion to reconsider. The answer, according to her notes: they wouldnโt. Legal experts called the intervention a direct and improper interference with judicial independence. She ultimately reversed herself, a decision she still questions.
7/ Later, leadership emailed demanding justification for other bond grants ordered by federal habeas courts. A new supervisor then suggested she did not have to grant bond even when hearings were requiredโlanguage she took as pressure for predetermined โshowโ hearings.
8/ While she was on the record, a supervisor entered her courtroom, pulled her out, and reassigned her away from detained cases. She was not allowed to explain what happened to the attorneys and migrants waiting. Her replacementโsomeone she had trainedโimmediately took over her docket.
9/ Donoso Stevens wept in her office after removing her robe. Colleagues noted she still had a job; she wondered what she would have to do to keep it. Her asylum denial rate had already climbed to ~85%; her successorโs hit ~95%.
10/ The Justice Dept denies directing outcomes, says judges are independent. Stevens is speaking publicly for the first time as she believes the courtโs integrity is at stake. This offers a rare inside look at how political pressure can reshape the system that decides who stays and who is deported.

To quote Martin Luther King, "I have a dream..." SpaceX has catastrophic crashes in major cities around the world, and the founder/CEO is exiled to the most secure prison and loses all of his fortune. I can dream can I?
She and Talarico could break the Red strangulation of the Lone Star State.
1/ Brazil's former president Lula da Silva was convicted and jailed in 2018 under "Operation Car Wash" (Lava Jato), the sweeping anti-corruption probe led by Judge Sergio Moro.
