I'mma just say it, Sims 4 creators with large paying followings who don't create, don't update their mods, and- if you're lucky enough to even get it out of them- only post confirmations on patch day that stuff is fine, are scammers. They know hundreds of people are paying them and they do nothing.

It is at *best* unethical. Maybe some of those hundreds legitimately want to financially support a creator regardless of any actual output or public presence. But I'm sure it's not all of them. I'm certain most of them outright forgot they're paying, and the creators sure aren't gonna ask them.
