HU Isaias Thursday PM. Basically the same, the eyewall wind speeds have dropped just a smidge, but still coming in at Gulf Shores around midnight Friday as a Cat 1 or small Cat 2 storm, mid tide falling. 8 miles from NAS Pensacola on Saturday the 10th at 0300 Zulu time, which is 10PM Friday night.

The weather app Ventusky, which is normally pretty reliable, shows wind GUSTS peaking in the 60 MPH range, with sustained winds in the 30-ish MPH range, which would make it a Tropical Storm, so yeah…… 😏 No tee shirts.

TD 9 is showing a small Cat 2 by the time it comes ashore in Pascagoula/Gautier on Saturday 10/10, at about 2000 Zulu, which is 2:00 PM. A bit far out to be sure, but we'll see a better prediction in a couple of days.

It’s a good read I can only recommend you give it a try…as is ‘The Radicalism of the American Revolution‘ by Gordon Wood which I highly recommend as I could recommend at least a dozen more that made aspects, moments or people of that time come alive History not only matters, it helps—sometimes a lot
