Designers are curated and sorted based on criteria such as: body of work, what genre they cover to ensure the event has as much variety as possible, and merit. I've built Midnight Order to have a section next to sponsors solely to highlight new faces to the event, new brands, and returning brands.

Please also note that I do not handle the designer end of Midnight Order--much of that work is entrusted to Secondlife Syndicate. But, I tend to make recommendations if I see someone new making really cool stuff that I think deserve a spotlight.

I do not use genAI in my work, I do not need it, & I do not use it in my ads. Quit coping with shame & insecurity by creating a fantasy that everyone ~secretly~ uses it. You have your own spaces, I have mine. Stay in your lane.

Jake updated to V4 which features PBR compatibility. Gianni has also updated right after & now features PBR compatibility. While eBody was the first to adopt PBR... So NOW... we just need Lelutka to update and we'll get some PBR updates & new machine skins rolling out. How exciting!

I wish I had the braincells to make plugins, and then create a business by making an agreement with the top bodies, then make their plugins for them. Then actually have some real consistency between dev kits w/ shapekeys or something and make it easier for creators to make content for those bodies.

This may or may not be a suggestion to any lurking blender plugin specialist looking for a side hustle. I can't do this at all but maybe-just maaaaaaaybe-you know? I'm willing to cough up some dosh for a plugin like that.

I've been coughing up my lungs with the flu, but while I'm doing that I played around with an old mesh eye project. These mesh eyes are simple BOM with a PBR layer, given depth through normals so it has as much perceived depth as possible, but still fits under your eyelids. Purely experimental ATM.

I've learned a lot of technical techniques with this head, which prompts me to unearth the heads I've made in 2018 for personal use, and set it on track for a full release by the end of this year. How fun!

RE: I do love some feedback! I've labeled the 'white' to 'grey' and added a 'white' colour that's a lot brighter for better customisation. Stay tuned though, we're going to add more to this head as we figure out a 'standard' release set up for all future body mods.

The Final Gifts of Bến Tôm Rơi is available, and this is also your last day to enjoy the sim! We have an encore show by Colemarie Soleil at 5pm SLT, and a Tunny poetry night at 7:30pm SLT!

You can tell something's scanned from vietnam when the scanner has a casualty on it. Rest in peace, Vietnamese ant. (They're basically everywhere. In Vietnam, you cannot stop them, it is inevitable. You must embrace the ants to live in peace.)

If you're looking to bid, follow our store chat, the fairelanders chat, or the livestream for info. To make your bid without getting onto the sim, please contact: Chi.Fairelander or Elayne.Diavolo Good luck!

Fun fact: The calligraphy logo of the sim is commissioned from a monk in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh, drawn directly on the spot. I had to send someone to get it for me, because I wanted to keep it as authentic as possible.

Some unedited shots. First 2 are in high graphics, last 2 are low. (Now if only we can get back faces for fallback textures, this can be half the triangles it would have been...) That aside, the chains used a new workflow as well, giving them a more 3D look.
