If Ai is good enough to replace engineers, designers, programmers, researchers, and workers in general, then it is DEFINITELY more than capable to replace the CEOs and Boards of the companies that are replacing humans with Ai.

OMG the weather is stupid beautiful right now. It's about 75 degrees, the sun is beating down hotly, and there is a chill breeze blowing. #autumn

Days after another measles death, we discover that the most powerful public health official in America will be a headline speaker for an anti-vax rally hosted by a conspiracy org he used to lead.   This is public health under Trump and RFK. Americans' lives are at risk.

I'm not sure why, but I'm thoroughly entertained by the fact that the reverse of the the word 'bonk' is 'knob'. #funnytome

Other than leaning heavily into MAGA like chic-fil-a and hobby lobby does, I do not see how Target will recover after going this far.

Listen to Wealth on your streaming service tidal.com/track/199635... A most excellent song with the lyrics and vocal styling of Flohio, and the magic and bounce that only Modeselektor can bring.

Colman Domingo: "I have a message for everyone who was upset about diversity in The Odyssey. If you want to see a film with a cast of all white people who are cursed by the gods, the Melania movie is currently streaming."

I am Black as well. And I didn't say that I didn't agree with you. I asked you not to make generalizations. There are and always have been more than white people on these lands. And yes, colonizers brought their own issues with them and gave them freely to the world. They are often fragile people.

I come from 600 some odd years of oppressed people in the Americas, and you tell me _online_ that I have to take responsibility for something. Hmm........

Just found Lay's All Dressed potato chips in Publix (in Tennessee USA)! Total disappointment because they taste nothing like the ones you get in Canada. 😫

Nice helpful deli lady is trying to tell me how I should get my stuff cut - even though I'm particular and requested specific cuts.

So Miller spoke about political terrorism & made only one point based on reality: "The criminal & the junkie & the predator is a threat to normal healthy living..." I'm just not sure why he spends so much time serving & protecting the criminals & the junkies & the predators he works for. 🤔

I think it's past time that "polyjuice potion" be used as another term for hormones...

substack.com/@rawstory/no... Beyond the negative impact to Utah and its Citizens from this project, I have to ask, why do so many men with power treat women this way?

45/47 told a conservative forum in Iowa: "He's not a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured."

I know it's winter and all, but for some dumb ass reason it's snowing outside right now.

I like how I get out of bed and start my day. Later I head back to grab something off of the nightstand and the pets have taken over the bed. This of course happens everyday. #pets #imsleepytoo

Looking like I might have to mow the lawn again soon. #Nashville #Winter

I had folded my socks and then stuck them in the dryer to tumble with a load of wet clothes (just 'cause). And they came out looking like meatballs!

So TikTok already bends to the Right. And now it is being bought by two American right wing entities and a Saudi right wing entity?

I have no idea why, and I haven't heard it since I was a kid, but I've had this earworm stuck in my head this morning: "Confidence, confidence dry and secure. Raise your hand, raise your hand if you're sure."

In today's continuing adventure of living, I sneezed. And pulled a muscle in my back AND on my side.

There is a yard crew working nearby, and the smell of fresh cut grass and small engine fumes mixed with the smells from the garbage truck as it rolls by is amazing and disturbing.

This is not acceptable. www.politico.com/news/2025/08...

"Dean Cain is the Kevin Sorbo of Rob Schneiders."

Power outage 32 minutes ago. The quiet woke me up.

Not gonna lie, Snoop is still dead to me. That one hurt.

That and other initiatives like it won't work on me. I'm not sure what it would take for me to shop there again if ever.

I just went outside to walk the dog and looked up and saw the moon and thought "the moon is made of an unstable organic, cheese-like material". Thanks @scalzi.com Attached is a so-so quick pic I took with my phone of said moon.

While shopping in the "cracker" aisle at the store I saw an older white man dressed rather stylishly. As I walked past him I looked him in the eye and said, "Cool belt!" He blinked, said "Pardon me..." and walked off. Everyone else in the aisle looked at one another and collectively said, "Huh..."

Legit question: How are you doing today?

Up all night with tornado warnings... 😴

Tornado warning right now after bedtime. Whee!

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org
