I just watched the first 25, minutes of The Virgin Suicide, turned it off to take a nap, and then proceeded to spend the entire time dreaming about how the movie continues. I guess I’m just like those boys.

I wish more places had transit agencies like Caltrain

Incredible, tbh. Thank you for believing in the electrification project, and for riding. "82% of likely voters... holding a favorable view of the transit agency. This figure soars among the riders, with occasional users at 84% approval and frequent users at 91%" hoodline.com/2025/02/bay-...

I would love to see some numbers on this, but I imagine that with congestion pricing, places like Downtown Brooklyn and Uptown/Harlem are also seeing less traffic from people trying to get to lower Manhattan. It would be another awesome third degree effect to add to the list!

Foaming at the idea of my state tolling the interstate spur that runs into the downtown of my city and using that money to fund bike, ped, and transit projects. It would never happen but a boy can dream, right?

Small wins like this add up! Let transit agencies do their thing!

Transferring to the 7 line at Grand Central-42 St? Well, we’ve got good news! A brand new passageway and staircase to the platform are now open 🎉 This is part of our larger effort to improve passenger flow through Grand Central-42 St, and it was completed on time and under budget.

Any American city with decent public transportation should implement a congestion toll that funds its mass transit. It is clearly working in New York, and I can do so much for cities like Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc.

All they will find is a criminally underfunded project that has managed to make significant progress against all odds time and time again

USDOT Secretary Duffy announced a federal investigation/audit of CA High-Speed Rail- with 60+ protesters shouting in support of rail

This iteration of USDOT is on a course to kill every positive infrastructure project this country has. First congestion pricing, now California high-speed rail. I really hope these states are are ready to fight a nasty fight.

My college professor is using Wendover Productions videos on class. I love Wendover but I don’t like that I’m paying thousands of dollars just to watch him to become an “expert” in supply chain

Just finished Paddington in Peru. I have…some thoughts that I will get into later, but the one sentence review is this: I enjoyed it but it didn’t feel like a Paddington movie at all and I am overall disappointed with it, given the bar set by the first two.
