When early voting opened today at our WI polling place, we were the fifth and sixth voters with a line forming behind us. The clerk said she was already seeing more voters than she typically gets in a full day of early voting. I hope that means a blue wave is forming.

These closures would mean you must drive a very long way for care in some parts of northern WI, where healthcare access is already an issue.

I can totally believe Talarico was off the campaign trail 9 days w/ flu; I spent 16 days at home fighting it. My hubby who is rarely ill has been home for eight days so far. This fall’s flu is ugly. Get your shot & pray it works.

What worries me with ice is that the public has no way of knowing if they are really ice. They have unmarked vehicles, wear masks, show no warrants or legal paperwork, no identification, and appear very unprofessional and violent. Anyone could be impersonating ice to terrorize our communities.
