Wayne💙Wizard of Hugs

Hiya everyone, I'm Wayne!👋 I'm a pixel artist, game designer, & hug wizard that's been working in games for over 10 years. Here's a little sample of my work ✨ I'm a little quieter on social media these days but I'm always happy to chat and share what I'm working on, never be afraid to reach out!💙

Trick or treat? That's up to you! The yearly Shutshimi Seriously Spooky event is up and running now on the Steam version of the game! Go have a ghoulishly good time with up to three of your friends!

Yesterday's terrifying tales were 🥚The Curse of Humpty Dumpty (2021) Somehow there's three of these?!?! Real weird take on dementia... 🕶️Willy's Wonderland (2021) Legally distinct Five Nights, This was way better than it had any right to be!

🎃We've reached the final week of spookymonth, how have you fared?🩸 We're starting the week off appropriately with a remade Monster Party title screen. I took some extra inspiration from the prototype title as well as giving it some extra depth. #pixelart

😱It's screaming Sunday everyone!😱 To celebrate the season, my first game Shutshimi has a special mode for Halloween that is now active! Get scary in a graveyard, shotgun some spirits, crush creatures with candy and more! store.steampowered.com/app/332530/S...

Yesterday I only got in one movie, but it was 👄In the Mouth of Madness (1994) Wonderful and a little campy cosmic horror! Also I love Sam Neill's horror roles. Do you read Sutter Cane?

Halloween is a week away! Happy times yall! Enjoy this Spooky Scary Skeletons cover by ME with art by @wanyo.bsky.social

Yesterdays monstery movies were 🎣Humanoids From The Deep (1980) Fun monsters from the depths with good gore, but too heavy on the sexual violence 💨Demon Wind (1990) I swear this movie isn't about a fart! A group goes to follow up on a family home with a dark past. Karate magician is there.

Demons and boxes 👹🧊 #screenshotsaturday #pico8

🪴It's Fiendish Friday and time to party!🪩 This wannabe Audrey II is just waiting to give us a show! This is my most recent (for now) Monster Party piece, I can't wait to do even more of these. I had a lot of fun setting a full scene and gives me ideas for other boss rooms. #pixelart

Can we break the curse tonight?! www.twitch.tv/wanyodos

You have no idea the kind of stuff @wanyo.bsky.social has cooked up for our game Screaming Savage Blood Death, but this is a good indicator of the cool stuff he does!

found some photos from an extremely early Danimal Cannon show at a Halloween party

dungeon crawler type music

Yesterday's pair of precarious pictures: 👹House of Horrors: Gates of Hell (2012) This was particularly interesting to me for being made in my hometown & contains folks I knew. 👽Invaders From Mars (1986) I love this kind of monster flick! The alien designs especially are so unique and well done!

Here are some samples I mocked up using my new pixel art UI pack. This asset pack is currently free for my supporters on Patreon or Ko-fi (links in bio) for a few weeks before it goes public. I'm also running a mock-up contest during that period. Use my art to make your game's UI, win a prize! 🤗

💀Stream update💀 Tomorrow night at 6pm EDT we'll be diving back in and finishing the Cursed Remake on twitch. Hope to see you there!

Yesterday's movie selection was an interesting mix of total classics. 🪦Nightbreed (director's cut) (1990) What lurks in the cemetary at night? who should we be really scared of? ☄️Night of the Comet (1984) Ghouls appear after an apocalyptic event 🥦Troll 2 (1990) OH MY GOOOOOOOOD!! (pls watch this)

If anyone happens to be in the Fredericksburg area next wednesday (28th), I'll be showing Screaming Savage Blood Death alongside a whole stack of awesome games, while in costume, at a super cute coffee shop! It'll be a good time and I would love to see ya there! 🎃

Resident Evil is getting a new fan game and @tronknotts.bsky.social walks us through the reporting by @krismoyse.bsky.social from @timeextension.com about how it will be Resident Evil The Game The Movie The Game

Yesterday's freaky flicks were 🪞Mirror Mirror (1990) Tormented goth gains powers from an old mirror. 📺Poltergeist (2015) Remake of a classic tale of the paranormal. (you should probably watch the original instead)

Welcome to wicked wednesday friends! I'm back busting out some Monster Party redraws, this time it's everyone's favorite Jinmenken and goo barfing mouth. Do you have a favorite Monster Party enemy? How do you feel about a different take on them?

Let's go again! (into a new week) 🩸🔪 This is the first Monster Party fanart I created back in 2015. I'm still pretty happy with what I accomplished with it, though I might take a different take on it at some point with a slightly different style.

I spent most of yesterday decorating, but I did dive into a classic for some comfy watching. Ghostbusters, while only partially horror still has some great spooky moments. Also I appreciate comedy so much that has so many subtle jokes that even still I'm catching for the first time!
