I’ve stood between a pork chop and a hungry human. Working in and around food teaches you things.

I have some appreciation that Meta security review makes a suggestion to use Duo for two factor

Just solved an iPad problem for family with a simple turn it off and on again. … modern computers …

Getting your life and e-mail under a domain that you own is a very good thing. It takes a little bit of work and a small expense. It pays off in a huge amount of flexibility and ability to move your digital life around.

Social platforms could very easily tell you when something is AI. But then you wouldn’t watch.

Presenting a digital ID to TSA from the Wallet app is greatly improved. I’m using my drivers license and the present without review solved the UX issue I was having with it. Works flawlessly now.

I haven’t received a call about my car warranty in a while. They called me more than my parents.

Called it a long time ago that we would need a lot of AI models. It’s math’d language so you basically need a DEI policy for AI models.

Have you noticed that grocery store registers put tomatoes under the vegetable category. That’s a certain kind of annoying.

Hey @pfrazee.com where does Bluesky stand on an “No AI” app toggle that would effectively be implementing watermarking verification against C2PA manifests? User story: Don’t ever show me AI generated videos or images.

I’ve tried TSA digital wallet, phone tap, a few times now. The user experience is slightly odd if you have Face ID. Because it’s a double click, Face ID, and the way you have to position the phone you can’t get face id unlock. The IDEMIA machine needs a slight redesign. Anyone else used it?

The pendulum swings in both directions. New force applied makes it swing harder back the other way. It is an inevitability.

It’s kinda easy to find super stressful network engineering jobs. I saw one the other day that doesn’t pay near enough, as compared to the mental stress it would put on you.

I’m not at Cisco Live. First time I’ve missed it in a very long time. More than a decade. I’ve gotten lots of text messages, and honestly loving comments about me not being there. It makes me appreciate how many of YOU have become important people in my life. #Networkers

Interesting time we are in.. people using social media, powered by data centers, to run stop data center construction campaigns. #facepalm

Now that my membership club has expired, I’m pretty sure I’m never going back to paying a company for the privilege to shop with them. No Prime, No Plus, No Costco.. just nope

It creates a false sense of needing to spend to extract value. I think it’s bait. Likely causes overspending in some people.

I’ve learned the hard way Apple Cash, Green Dot Bank, has absolutely no method of blocking fraud merchants. It’s like a debit card, but seemingly worse. Interesting couple of conversations I’ve had with them. Even a close and re-open of the account, they’ve said will not stop it. Alrighty Green Dot.
