Damn alright Bruce. Ten quid gets you a sizable solid figure with 12 accessories and a rack for them and 3 can go on his belt and a cloth cape. OK no torso joint and I think ankles could be a deal breaker in the long run but action figures are back (I probably never paid attention to the right ones)

Deffo gonna go back for Superman though like what accessories could you give him? I'd hope for a heat vision attachment but I won't hold my super freezing breath. (Yes I could look this up but I'm much more interested in being surprised by toys than learning everything about them before you buy)

I don't have a tfsona but I think Joyride is pretty close. He's a long man made of a teal off road vehicle but not a bulky slow one. He's got red. He looks a bit like me

Ben Watson@waspshot23.bsky.social

You might wonder why I'd jump for Joyride but the answer is that we just don't get tampographed deco operations anymore and certainly not metallic ones. Also he's teal. The red isn't right but what a good looking robot. The feel is not so good mind.

Well rumours of Missinglink Starscream, Megatron and finally Masterpiece Jazz are all deeply sexual to me. This is the stuff I've really been waiting for that will sit up there as best of the best. Trying not to go nutso when it's literally a "he said".

Ah no I'm not immune to the tigerzord specifically for some reason. Only twenty quid? Dangerous. Anyway seeing new wave leaders Megazarak and Harold of Unicron on shelf at Nine Pounds more than Blitzwing and whatever just came out is fucking galling

So in light of that I'm pretty "zazzed" to have come along at the point the only deluxe I'm after has had a fiver knocked off it to become a sane price and also I picked up a ten quid Bertman. Toys do not have to be expensive

Yeah yeah hold up, bro is a Tarn retool from the waist down

#DidYouKnow that the Nominus Edict was an attempt to regulate Cybertron’s expansionism? The Edict limited Cybertron’s shipyards, colonization programs, and energon harvesting programs, but this well-meaning legislation indirectly led to the rise of the Decepticons… tfwiki.net/wiki/Nominus...

Without using a playlist, merely clicking on either the very next suggested video or one of them, I've just listened to a load of SBR Stand name tracks on youtube lol no one normal just listens to this why would you go from Tusk to Ballbreaker in any other scenario

Can't believe it, a new toy entry on the wiki has actually revealed an arcane secret to me. They're usually inaccurate and badly written and if I have the toy I have to rewrite them. But that sprung panel on Starscream's back is removable?? And turn it round and the hammer fits there all nice like??

They actively tooled new parts around the part of the toy that doesn't do anything now but kept the way it opens for now, no reason. Absolutely baffling

The longer I spend with this toy, the more I can't work out how they can sell it for 20 notes flat. It's no smaller than most 24.99 (or 27.99!) Deluxes from Gens or Studio. It uses no ball joints. It has a waist, wrists, two axis ankles. And including the cannon, 4 accessories, 1 on its own sprue.

So there's just 3 cars in Cyberworld. They all work the same. 2 of them are Bumblebee. You could possibly count 2 more things which might be said to be cars. I'm unclear on if a SUV counts. More unclear on that than the shark with racecar wheels. I'd like one that represents a new body type.

The arms are a bit hollow and he can't look up or down. The alt mode is messy. Not much 5mm compatibility. I don't think precedent shows us that's worth knocking 5 beans off the price. So is it just down to the idea that they know they'll shift more units compared to like Swerve?

Other toys in this assortment and its immediate lineage are clearly "budget" deluxes, bit smaller, bit more basic, but I can't say that applies here. They accidentally let out a bargain

Had to double check this wasn't DisgustingFilm cos, you what?

First look at Dwayne Johnson as the Chicken Man in Benny Safdie's ‘LIZARD MUSIC’. The film follows a young boy who finds a secret late-night broadcast of lizards playing otherworldly music that opens a hidden door to the whimsical Chicken Man.

The most important Transformers in order are: 1. Optimus Prime 2. Starscream 3. Jazz or Wheeljack 4. Shockwave 5. Megatron 6. Soundwave 7. Bumblebee 8. Everyone Else Important Transformers to me in no order are: 8(a). Whirl 8(b). Bombshell 8(c). Cheetor 8(d). Galvatron 8(e). Hot Shot

Only just hit me that Titans Return was ten years ago. Been so focused on the goods of 2006 I've neglected to mark the absolute bangers of 2016. OK, most of the best ones were 2017 but... how is that a decade gone aughhh

I've done a couple of good bits. I've probably not included them in here

Having one of those days where finally everything tells you it's going to be alright (you walk out of one shop playing Daft Punk into another which plays another Daft Punk song which I choose to see as Providence) and you get home and just cry a bit for it.

Went for another eye check up in London and wowee it was fit to burst but they've got it calmed down and the operation actually did the trick this time and then I walked in a shop and was greeted by an Ursula book I haven't got like a gift from a grandmother and could actually read it on the train

Not been at the shop since September 1st but I've still managed to coordinate buying stock to the tune of just finding out there are common pokemon cards worth 40 quid each. Come get your Woopers I guess

Watched one too many big rig clips and now I'm being fed them. Trucks are so cool, especially the teal chrome peterbilt I just saw but jesus jumbo christ, the smog pouring out of the bastards!

Best we'll get here is some sanded down Scania the bloke might have been allowed to put some custom livery on but maybe that's better than some diesel chugging 18 wheeler making the birds drop out the sky as it goes along

I'm doing this again. Everyone's modern G1 collection looks different because unless you're ceaselessly churning it represents where the line was at the time you decided to commit to it. I'm still unsure some of these are the best ones of them but it's all a lot of faff innit

(You may notice 2020 discolouration continues. Now visible on Inferno. Thundercracker and G2 Ramjet, Blaster and Jhiaxus have all certifiably Gone Off.)

No such link in my email. The wording "right to object" isn't found in it either.

Kate Griffin@griffinkate.bsky.social

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

Kind of fallen in love with 2010 Battle Blades Optimus again. The perfect voyager movie truck. All the robot stuff is covered up unlike more recent efforts. I say "kind of" because I haven't transformed it. Jamming the leader conversion into this has mixed results on the robot. No toes!
