If you asked me to imagine a sleazy businessman villain from an 80s/90s movie, I couldn't come up with something better than what this guy actually looks like.
Again: Trump gave a no-bid contract for the Reflecting Pool to a corrupt neighbor donor with a history of bribery whose company is literally called GREENWATER Services How is this real life

@petersagal.bsky.social, is this the first time ever that WWDTM has been cited as a primary source for a news story? gizmodo.com/after-plurib...

Is it too late for them to revoke Elon's status? Oh, what's that you say? They're not actually targeting antisemitism, they're only targeting people who speak out against Palestinian genocide? www.npr.org/2025/04/09/g...
Cory Booker has done an extraordinary thing in these times that call for extraordinary measures from our elected officials. He has broken the record for the longest speech on the Senate floor speaking out against the unlawful, unamerican, and evil actions of the Trump administration.
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (my congresswoman when I lived in Seattle!) is holding resistance labs to help Americans organize non-violent resistance to unlawful actions by the Trump administration. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SHC...

"Musk's claim ("the left is supposed to be the party of empathy") perfectly distills the asymmetry in our politics. The left is “supposed to be” empathetic, so that’s the standard it must live up to. The right isn't, so when its leader incites a riot, that’s fine since it meets our expectations."
Trump admin lawyers are saying the Alien Enemies Act allows federal agents to enter homes without a warrant. I'd hope that this would never hold up in court, but the fact that they're even suggesting it is disturbing. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/20/u...
This is some Orwellian shit right here. The US Attorney for the District of Columbia is supposed to uphold the law, which includes the first amendment. Revoking press credentials from the AP over their decision to continue to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as such is fundamentally un-American.
This is insane. If you wonder why some of us think the rule of law is about to fall, it's this. The U.S. Attorney for DC is not "President Trump's lawyer" and its job is not to "protect his leadership" nor prosecute people who "refuse to put America first".

When Trump says he doesn't know anything about something, it's always a lie. Ironically, when Trump claims to know more than anybody about something, that's also a lie.
Someone thought to scrape the metadata for posts being made on the OMB website and found folks with connections to the Heritage Foundation (think Project 2025). This piece was a clear explanation of what this means (clearer than reading through Reddit): www.404media.co/opm-memos-to...
One week into the second Trump administration, and we're already witnessing what would be an impeachable offense under any other president. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Mike Johnson just attributed a prayer to Thomas Jefferson that is probably a misattribution according to the Thomas Jefferson Foundation. Jefferson was well known for being a staunch proponent of keeping religion and government separate. Full stop. www.monticello.org/research-edu....

Welcome to the Fascist States of America... We need the GOP senators who still have a modicum of a spine left to stand up against Kash Patel's confirmation. Sorry, Susan Collins, but your concern isn't enough, we need your "no" vote.
“We’re going to come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections,” Patel said then. “Whether it’s criminally or civilly, we’ll figure that out.”
