The other giant would need to eat about 5600 people a day at maximum efficiency (56,000 people otherwise), and would live for 6,400 years. They could eat about 1.3*10^10 people at top efficiency, or 1.3*10^11 people otherwise (that's about 1.2x all humans who ever lived)

Also of note, I have found (based on normalizing to a person who lives for 80 years and 65 kg) that the lifespan of someone is about 28.2*m^1/4. The 12 m giant would be 25,920 kg, and would live for 360 years. If our giant ate 10 people a day, they'd eat about 1.3 million people.

I mention all of this because you can, with a fixed CI, figure out a rough BMR from someone's height. I've found that at a CI of 15, and a height of 12 m, or 39 feet, a giant's BMR would be equal to the average person's caloric content.

From what I've seen, we can estimate the average mass of a person, from their height, via the corpulence index, which is CI = mass/height^3 (CI is about 12-20, I tend to put it around 15). Note the mass is kg, and height is in m. We can use this for equating height with mass: (CI*height^3) = mass.

You are up to date.
