Todays stream (that was supposed to be yesterday's) will happen instead on saturday, i just had to take some time off to be there for my mum who was feeling horrible since a all her chickens got killed by a wild animal who got into their space.

And dw abt me! Im fine, I wasn't close to em, it was still a bit of a shock, but yeah, it didn't affect me enough that i feel the need or desire to rest, even if it can sound a bit cold. But yeah, i should still be streaming tomorrow, friday, and now also saturday just for this week!

Thinking of doing an animated YCH auction so that i can work on a single thing and take it easier than do streams everyday for the rest of the month. How does this look, does this look like something people would be interested in? If not, what can I improve ?

when I used to do commissions the most useful information for me was about the character’s personality. that’s how I would know how to pose them, what types of expressions they’d make, what types of clothes they’d wear, what types of lighting they’d look best in. don’t be boring. make a stanky ref.

“don’t shade your ref sheet!” “don’t use distracting backgrounds for your ref sheet!” do those things. defy one conventional idea of how to produce an optimal ref sheet. drench your ref sheet in aesthetic noise, communicate aspects of your character that flat colors and linear art alone cannot.
