Maybe you've already found your people. Maybe you're still looking. You don't need the perfect costume, enough followers or encyclopedic knowledge of the lore. There is room for you. Where fandom meets wellness. Where you belong. Tomorrow, we begin again. 🩷💛💙

Fandom can be where we escape. But it can also be where we create, connect, explore who we are and find people who understand us. Wellness doesn't have to exist outside the things we love. Where fandom meets wellness. 2 days. 🩷💛💙

No costume. No deadline. No convention. No contest. No photo. Nothing in cosplay is more important than the person underneath it. Wellness Before Cosplay. Because the person matters more than the costume. 3 days. 🩷💛💙

We love cosplay. But not the accuracy. Not the craftsmanship. Not the photo. Not the contest. Not the deadline. None of it matters more than the person underneath. The costume was never the most important part. You were. 4 days. 🩷💛💙

You can love something and still need a break from it. Skip the con. Put the project down. Mute the chat. Don't post today. Taking a break doesn't mean you stopped caring. It will still be here when you're ready. 5 days. 💙

Fandom can give us joy, creativity, friendship and connection. The things we love should add to our lives—not cost us ourselves. We're allowed to take care of the person doing the loving, too. 6 days. 💛

“Just one more thing. Then I'll rest.” And somehow there's always one more thing. Rest isn't a reward for reaching the end of your to-do list. You don't have to earn your rest. 8 days. 💙

Something you made can fail without you being a failure. The costume. The project. The post. The contest. None of those things determine your value. You are more than what you make. 9 days. 🩷💛💙

Sometimes wellness isn't something we do alone. It's finding people who understand. People who share our weird little interests. People who make us feel welcome. Community can be wellness. Everyone deserves somewhere they can belong. 10 days. 🩷💛💙

Make something. Write something. Build something. Photograph something. Try something new. Make something terrible and laugh about it. 😂 Creativity doesn't have to produce a masterpiece to have value. Creativity can be wellness. 11 days. 🩷💛💙

The things we love aren't necessarily distractions from real life. Creating. Fandom. Characters. Conventions. Friendship. Joy. Sometimes the things that make us feel most like ourselves are part of taking care of ourselves. 12 days. 🩷💛💙

We're fans, creators, friends, professionals, parents, students, caregivers, cosplayers—and usually more than one at once. You aren't just one thing. Your wellness shouldn't be either. 13 days. 🩷💛💙

Fandom can be a place to escape. It can also be a place to create, connect, explore and grow. Wellness doesn't have to happen somewhere outside the things we love. Taking care of yourself belongs here, too. 🩷

Make it. Buy it. Commission it. Thrift it. Modify it. Pull it out of your closet five minutes before you leave. Cosplay isn't an entrance exam. If you're having fun, you're doing it right. 💙

Becoming someone else for a little while can be one of the joys of cosplay. But underneath every costume is still you—with your own identity, needs, boundaries and story. Don't lose sight of the person underneath. 💙

Fandom can get expensive FAST. Rewear the cosplay. Skip the collectible. Set the con budget. Say “not this time.” Spending more doesn't make you more of a fan. You don't have to spend more to belong more. 💛

Transformation doesn't always mean becoming someone new. Sometimes it's setting a boundary. Trying something you've been afraid to try. Expressing yourself differently. Sometimes growth looks like becoming more comfortable being you. 🩷

Your Self-Care Sunday challenge: Do one thing this week that's just for you. Rest. Create. Connect. Laugh. Do absolutely nothing for a while. It doesn't need to be productive to be worthwhile. 💙 What's your one thing?

One of the best things fandom can give us isn't a costume, collectible or convention experience. It's people. Find the people who let you be excited, weird, creative and completely yourself. 💗 Connection > perfection.

Things have been a little quiet around here this week. Sometimes you need to take the same advice you give everyone else. 💛 I needed some time to rest and recharge—and that’s okay. You don’t have to earn your rest. It’s part of taking care of yourself. #WellnessAndCosplay
