When everyone was hammering away making 100s upon 100s of contacts today in the contest- I made 13 elsewhere. But enough now- telly and biscuits time.. raisin and nut biscuits! Quite sleepy in fact.

Wife is poorly again, so no hours making foods and dishes for dinner, given she's only eating soup, pot noodles or bread. With that... biscuits, raisin and nut biscuits in fact!

Braved the wind and swung the Yagi for LA6OP and OH5MWL in the RS-44 FT4 log. POCSAG-news there is a sheep in high water somewhere, but don't worry, large animal rescue assets have been mobilised; another sheep called Doris, is constantly trying to poo and is not spending time with the other sheep.

Well, i was heard running FT4 on JO-97 and i was also hearing DH9, but i came in late to the pass, so perhaps the next one will give a completed contact. It does move very fast compared to RS-44. Very speedy on a 15degree elevation. I assume it will be positively zooming at the next at 45degree.

Shout out to Kristijonas Adomaitis and the team for what appears to be a powerful bit of kit for SDR enthusiasts. I am running 3.0 on my Raspberry Pi 4B and waiting for a METEOR-M pass. on-air.dev I’ll explore further. FYI Satdump has run its course for me. Constant crashes on Win+Linux. I’m done.

on-air.devOnAir: free open-source SDR decoder (DVB-T2, ADS-B, DAB+, FT8)OnAir is a free, open-source SDR app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Decode DVB-T2, ATSC, DAB+, FM, ADS-B, ACARS, AIS, satellites, FT8 and 151+ more modes.

Unconventional I grant you, but! Hearty slices of aubergine roasted to remove moisture. After one with cheese, one with capers pressed in. Then! Slab of white fish sandwiched between, then wrapped in a prosciutto type ham and stuck in the oven. Served with broccoli and onion rice. Wife's a fan.

4 passes. The best image each pass. I think it is pretty obvious that Cosmonaut Dubrov has a friend that turns up the power each time his image is transmitted.

New one in the log from K4YYL- Since i was lead to the dark side of FT4 through satellite, a mere two days ago now, i have gained eight new grids confirmed through LOTW. Eight!

That VK station recently gave me my 7th WWFF continental reference. Really weird selection of stations as seemingly the 'first' of each. Antarctica logged before Europe, odd. Galapagos as the first SA, seems odd! EA only in 2015, that's odd. Montenegro on RTTY in 2017-very odd! Took me 9 years!

Butternut squash made and eaten, shack dusted and given a long overdue hoover and dusting. Coffee and a bit of FT8 and mibbie the 14:29utc RS-44 pass. ...after I put the laundry away anyway. These days off, called the weekend, sure has a lot of chores associated.

Is this the most vibrant 15inch portable screen? No, clearly not. Is aliexpress selling them for £35 from a UK depot? Aye they are. Did I get my one for free because of a weird 'returns' error? Mibbie I did! Can I get it to work with a raspberry pi? Weirdly no so far.

New US station comes to me through RS-44 and with that, a new confirmed square through LOTW. 6 in the log from that pass with 4 US. Hail Peter KB1HY and hello M0NPT, always nice to hear you.

Take someone else's cuisine, pass it through many, many hands and voilà! Mushroom tofu, soba noodles veggies and spicy broth. You have to admit, its a fine looking bowl of food.

The results of the summer tropo' - I think i will need a pretty good opening to Spain in the summer to get the 17 grids I am currently short of for the 100, doable... if i am lucky and in the shack when or if that occurs. 🤷‍♀️ Pains me slightly it is not an 80/20 award, just feels like it should be!

Very much a camera shot rather from the eye as the lights are too bright here, but you can see the haze where it is. Camera does a fair job though. #aurora K7

That is the 2nd robot/ai SSB station i have found today; that OE that has been around for a bit now was on 20m and then an R4 up on 17m. I don't like them!
