I believe the political parties would care more about what the people want, and care somewhat less about prescribed agendas Well, maybe they would shift their prescribed agendas to include the opinions of more people than either party normally caters to.

Are you familiar with the show, “Married… With Children”? I had an uncomfortable realization a few minutes ago… Imagine a sequel of the show with Al as the President, Bud as the Secretary of Defense, and Peggy and Kelly in some assorted roles. That sequel would be called “Now”. Produced by Fox.

It is freaky! I watched about 15 minutes of the video I shared. It was uncomfortable to watch. Some of the content matches the attitudes of our current leadership. AL wanting to cut spending except when it is his spending. Al talking bad about overweight people. Someone said “America first“.

I listened to the entire Jack Smith hearing yesterday. Senator Thom Tillis sounded like the most honest/sincere person who spoke. In fact, to me, he seemed like he was the only honest/sincere person in the room. The others seemed like they were performing a script for their respective parties.

Every time I drive past this house, this sign gives me joy. Someone designed it. Someone fabricated it. Someone sold it in a retail store. Then the homeowner bought it and put it in their yard. I guess nobody told them, or they didn’t care that the grammar was incorrect.

Someone please do a press release announcing that we now have an AI Agent that can run for and serve in Congress and do what’s best for people and not oligarchs. I just want to see what happens…

In case you were too young to remember this, here is my story: 25 years ago, today I was a grad student, performing my office hours, when someone in the hall announced that an airplane had flown into the World Trade Center. I tried to go to cnn.com, but the website timed out. Cont…

Also, before the buildings fell, while we were watching TV, apparently people above the floors where the planes impacted started to jump to their deaths. They knew they were doomed. So they fell 90 stories. There were videos where you could hear their impacts. It was loud. Cont…

Firefighters and emergency personnel became highly-honored people. Especially the fire department of New York (FDNY). Many of them died climbing the stairs of the building as it collapsed. Cont…

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention some things: The airplanes that hit the buildings had just taken off for transcontinental flights. They were full of fuel. When they impacted the building, they stripped insulation off of the steel beams. The burning fuel softened the metal to failure. Cont…

People started to say, “Never forget,” concerning 9/11. I think, for some, that meant “Never forgive.” It was not OK to blame all Middle Eastern people, or all Muslim people. All of them had nothing to do with it. Cont…

Eventually, they aired an episode of David Letterman’s show (a late night comedy show). There were no jokes. It was somber. After that, they slowly return to normal television broadcasting. For months, the news covered the firefighters, construction workers, etc., digging through the rubble. Cont.

They had a hard time finding remains of people. The weight of the falling building, and all of the resulting concrete dust, made it hard to identify humanity. The country wanted revenge. Perhaps we didn’t care who we hurt. Cont.

And that’s what America did. People left work, got their kids out of school, and we went home and stayed there. The economy started to shut down. The president got on TV telling people to go back to business as usual. But we did not want that. Cont…

Some people signed up to join the military. Some people donated blood. People checked on their neighbors. People were angry. For one or two weeks, there was nothing on television except for coverage of this event. There were no commercials. Cont…

Normally happy morning show hosts were having to ad-lib their way through covering death and destruction on live TV. Eventually, I had to go to class. I walked across campus, confused by how the sky could be so blue, without any clouds, on such a horrible day. Cont.

Some guy was standing on the amphitheater stage, preaching. (This was not a religious school.) The professor started class with, “I guess we should have class like normal.“ We were all unsure about how to move on. We all wanted to go home, be with our family, and watch TV for answers. Cont…

Later we learned about a fourth plan for the passengers fought back. Later we learned that fighter jets were scrambled to intercept passenger jets that were not responding to the order to land. In the student center, I was surrounded by people from all over the world. Cont…

Then the first tower fell, while we watched it. It was a very helpless feeling, knowing that a lot of people were still in the building. Minutes, the second tower fell. People exclaimed, in low-voiced horror. The news channel shared each other’s footage as it came in. Cont.

I assumed terrorism. It seemed like the USA, or our assets, were getting hit once or twice each year. I went to the student center, where there was a television. A large crowd was there, watching. I learned the pentagon was hit, and all planes were commanded to land. Cont.

I tried to go to a couple of other news websites. They timed out. They could not handle the number of visitors they were receiving. I tried bbc.co.uk, and it partially came up. It said that a second plane had hit the other tower of the World Trade Center. Cont…

So it sounds like: If you vote Republican, each adult in the USA adult might get a $5000 check. If you vote Democrat, each adult in the USA might get one previously-unreleased page of the Epstein files.

I was talking to my daughter about nuclear power plant meltdowns. I referenced Chernobyl, and mentioned that the Soviets kept a secret until other nuclear power plant started sensing the contamination. The Soviets hid bad information. Then I realized that the same pattern in the USA currently…

I watched the 2014 RoboCop tonight. I discovered that the RoboCop theme song is reminiscent of this song “Scrooge“ from the Muppet Christmas Carol movie. It’s the song that says “There goes Mr. Humbug. There goes Mr. Grim.”

I got to use it at school. I went home and ask my parents if we could buy a computer. Mom asked me, “What would you do with it?” I said, “Homework.” I did not have the foresight to realize that I could’ve used it to start a relevant career. We did not buy one.

I decided to watch this talk that I shared. It sounded different to me this time… My family had a run-in with a narcissist in recent years. I think they’re a cult leader. Then I see Trump’s narcissism. Then I listened to Dolly… She names things surer herself. Her portrait on everything (cont)

She draws a lot of attention to herself. She did not leave the public eye. She confesses a repulsion to not doing her best. These are all narcissism traits. However, she admits weakness, tolerates jokes about herself, and seemingly cares about others . I don’t know how to sort this stuff out.

I woke up with a new perspective: If corruption is the abuse of a position of power for private gain, then the US media is corrupt. We entrusted them with the power to tell us the truth. Instead they report what will sell commercials. Continued…

Even independent journalists report one-sided news with Clickbait titles. They are tickling our ears instead of telling us the truth, whether we like it or not. I don’t know how to fix this. I woke up with this new idea in my head this morning. Well, there you go. :)

(I doubt the following, and I saw nothing on Google about it.) Is some Democrat source funding Darlene Graham’s senate campaign? It sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
