I know the elections are coming and it’s all anyone can talk about. But it is insanely difficult to hold myself in check when someone says ‘I need X to live.’ But I won’t vote for Politician Whatever because he doesn’t have my religious beliefs. Even if he plans to give me the X I need.

Talent does Not=Art. It helps, sure. My talent in art is not in drawing. It took decades of effort to get where I am. My talents lie in sculpture and conceptualizing. To anyone wanting to learn to draw, It should be more "do you want to create?" Because you may have hidden talents in other areas.

To those in the back who don't get this: STOP telling people real artists have to suffer! No they Effing do NOT! This sends a HORRIFYING message to kids who want to learn! I know plenty of talented well balanced and creative artists. Suffering does NOT = Art.

Homemade pizzas, decent day at work, not sick, cats behaving, dog doing what she always does, catching demons on a game and feeling immensely better.

going to work today. slept almost the whole day yesterday. guess I needed it. One of the cats passed a couple weeks ago and the male has been missing her. So he appreciated having a big body to hug all day.

6. I was 6 when I was first told I was worthless by strangers. It never stopped. Someone always had an excuse to validate why they assumed I was worthless and would amount to nothing. Decades later all my successes and triumphs would still mean nothing to them. I do nothing for them. I do it for me.

I will never be good enough in the eyes of people like that. It's not worth the energy to even try. Same is true of the critics and the naysayers who tear down my art. There is no victory over them, because there is no battle. Like parasites, they only take energy best used to do what I love.
