"too much lao gan ma is bad for you" oh is too much love bad for you? too many dreams? is there an upper limit of how much you are allowed to frolick in a field of sunflowers?

reached this panel once again and i cant and wont ever get over how brilliant it is, oda understands fascho losers on a level we all should aspire to

loving a character is wanting them to suffer and regress in all of their development one last time so they can finally overcome themselves... ...im rereading one piece and got to enies lobby and id give both my kidneys to have sogeking back one more time

i cant look at characters in games/shows/movies in lingering shots anymore without my brain going "theyre aura-farming" my life is ruined

to have the confidence of those youtube cooks roasting whole heads of garlic, i could never, all the garlic i buy always has at least one rotten clove, it really is a metaphor for life

oh yeah and of course, the "serpent" of the First World is the Red Line, and also Jormungandr, the snake that floods the world and brings an end to the gods when it ceases to bite its own tail, a little on the nose Oda but i forgive you

i think the people of the half-moon were the D's, a mark of allyship humans put on themselves to signal to the people of the moon, all other races, that they were on their side. this is why almost all of the D's are human, it was a coded message that they werent like the Celestial Dragons

and finally: "the sun spread fires of war", "man killed the sun and became god", both encompass a double meaning i believe. the sun refers to both Nika and to the forbidden sun, a finite ressource inciting war over it, and in the end man both killed Joyboy and used the last of the forbidden sun

pretty much ready to call what the "forbidden sun" was, it's fucking fossil fuels, if im wrong ill eat a door. the kings had it extracted from the planet to depletion, they used it to power Uranus, which is why they needed the Mother Flame in current times to use it again

one of my favorite parts of it all: you can see the former Mermaid Princess on it as Poseidon, the flying ship that is Uranus, but where is Pluton? right there in the center, the carving of Adam (on Adam itself), the tree the Sunny is built from, and Franky standing in front of it

You are up to date.
