Did hat pics of some toku figures I picked up at collectormania. Pretty sure they're all western versions of the toys. Doubt I was lucky enough to get the Japanese ones.

Ultraman Teo is great but I feel like I shouldn't be as engaged by the recap episode girl Eiko's pathetic life as much as I am the rest of the show. Hope she sorts her life out. The show had better end with the orb visiting her to tell her what happened in the finale.

As per usual, I wish someone would pick up the rights to release Kamen Rider, Ultraman and the like in the UK. It's a flipping full on toku drought here. I suppose we got Gorgo. I should be happy with them mouldy scraps.

Does anyone know, if I downloaded a game via the Epic Games Store thing do I still need the launcher to start it. Got Death Stranding in a humble bundle that claimed via Epic and I kinda wanna get Epic games stuff off my PC.

Got One Piece Grand Gourmet and please let me slow the game down and only move text and menus on when I choose. It's a barrage of stuff happening often before I have a chance to deal with the last few things that popped up. Keep skipping text and pop ups cos they happen when I press the menu button.

Facebook changed my account to a meta account last night. I added a passkey straight away. Got a message on my WhatsApp earlier with a two factor password reset code. Guess that means that within 24 hours of that switch someone has tried getting into my account.

Just realising I haven't seen Kamen Rider Gavv - Guilty Parfait. Not sure how that slipped by me. Gavv is right up in my top fave Kamen Riders. Something about that show worked so well for me. The production quality on all the location shooting and action scenes was superb.

I thought Zeztz lost a bit of that, although it was still real good. Just felt like what had come before in how it was shot and lit. My-th feels a little more in line with the better shooting style of Gavv so far. Actually digging My-th a lot. Might be a top tier one.

Not sure what figure to review next. I'll have Missing Link Ironhide in a week or so. Tempted to do Missing Link Grimlock of Ultra Magnus, but am aware that I do a lot of G1/G1 Adjacent stuff. Maybe I try saying nice things about Armada Sideswipe?

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

New video has done alright for something on a channel that hasn't posted for months and barely drew views. Like, it's not had a load of views but people have been commenting and liking it. An old buddy commented on there but I've just gone to respond and their comments has gone.

That's a fun build. Didn't take long at all. Probably would have gone smoother if I didn't keep missing steps. Would like a forklift truck like this. Had a technic one as a kid that was red and yellow with pneumatic pump actions.

Man, they need to get Steve Rogers back in a costume that's like the one in this. Something brighter and hopeful looking. Not where he's been as a character in these films for ages though. And I guess Sam wears generally bright colours. It just looks spot on in the first Avengers.

Sweet. Back to step 50. The Iron Man Vs Thor and that whole sequence was fun wasn't it? The dialogue, written by some mystery person probably not worth looking up, is feeling a bit dated now. Still a lot of that style about today.

Now it's coming together. Not much more to go. Technic construction vehicles are top tier Lego making for me. Construction vehicles are cool. Ask a toddler. They'll confirm it.

Love how technic can just look like nothing at all for a while but then it all just forms at the end. Also, Avengers is good. Really is a textbook way to do a first big superhero team up. Shame we'll never know who directed it.

That's a fun mechanism. Uses some cross shaped pieces with rounded ends are gears in the middle. Gives it a nice clicky feel. Also, wasn't it great when all this stuff was still new in these marvel movies. That helicarrier taking off scene was proper comic nerd wish fulfilment the first time.

Ooh big chunky wheels. Put the first Avengers film on to watch while doing this. Figured I'd rewatch them before Doomsday. Looking forward to giving Age of Ultron a rewatch with Visionquest being on now. Last time I watched it I liked it a little more than before.

Yeah this shouldn't take long. There was small bags in the Enterprise set that had more pieces than this in it.

Was thinking I'd give putting the primer on this a go to start getting it painted up but I can't get the roof off now. It'll probably come off with a little force but this was custom made basically so don't wanna break it. I can just mask everything around it I guess.

Dunno how this is going. Got a feeling some of the primer has got under the tape but I have isopropyl alcohol if I need to remove that later. Guess I leave this for a day or so and see how it comes out. Got a technic set to build now.

Should probably check there's no newbie traps I could fall into with painting too. I know nowt. From what I got told primer you just slap on as evenly as you can and it'll level itself out.
