wealth inequality, business management structure, monopolies/oligopolies, regulation, workers protection, etc are all policy decisions, this means that it can be fixed in a capitalist economy, elect politicians who will fight for a fair economy that works for everyone, not just shareholders and CEOs

I can't take people serious when they don't understand that market based economies distribute resources alot better than command economies. Profit seeking is needed for needs to be met, price gouging is not, even some Socialists agree with that.

Stop saying Capitalism is bad and start saying greedy CEOs are bad. Capitalism does work if you prevent those from exploiting it. Regulate, break monopolies up, create a strong welfare state, consumer protection laws, antitrust. Basic Social Democracy.

I didn't mince my words. Alberta's anti-immigration referendum questions are racist. They are also a potential disaster for Alberta's economy. Last night, I rose in the Senate to denounce them - and to thank all the thousands of Albertans fighting against them. Please share. #notothenine #cdnpoli

what the fuck is wrong with people trying to justify October 7th. I can condemn Israel's genocide and illegal actions while condemning Hamas's killings of innocent Israelis who have nothing to do with the Israeli Governments actions. This is common fucking sense

Fun fact for y'all, Fascist economics is not exclusive to 1 system so saying "Capitalism = Fascist" is not true. Historically yes they have used Capitalism and persecuted Socialists and Communists, but the Fascist movement itself does not have a set economic system

Democratic Socialism is not rising in the United States, people are confusing that system with Social Democracy because their favorite channels and politicians say they are. Social Democracy is what is gaining traction, get it right. (State Socialism is far-left, Market Socialism is not)

are people under the impression that a left-wing party can't be racist, xenophobic and exhibit some anti-immigration views and be anti-trans and what not just because they're left-wing? those positions are not mutally exclusive to the right, it just so happens to be in the West the Left is liberal

there are still some socially and culturally conservative left-wing parties, just some how there is some socially liberal right wing parties. socially and culturally conservative left-wing parties are more visible in the Asia region than anything, take for example the Chinese Communist Party
