So the Solo books I ordered arrived! The sequel book ordered on Amazon from the UK: ripped & battered corner, packed like absolute shit. Annoying. The first book - an ebay purchase from Oklahoma: not a single scratch. Came in a "wire coat hangers" outer package with three padding layers. Hilarious.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It has good parts, it's very nostalgic, the music is occasionally perfect, acting is stellar, but it's not FF7. Not really. With the whole "multiverse compression" angle & love story core, it would've been more suited as an FF8 remake/retelling imo. More interesting too.

Not sure how i feel about the main character of Wildblue Skies (Bowie) being pronounced as boah-ay and not baow-ey :P ... ... Only kidding! Mwahahahaa! >:3 The game looks cute! That art and those designs are bait for sure! 👀

The guitar i bought came with a Prop65 Californian carcinogenic warning label which was a surprise! 👀 I googled - turns out it's for anything produced with harsh chemicals and not in fact because the guitar is radioactive... SO, if i promise not to eat it, i'll probably be fine! 🤞

The stick man is always objectively better, because it hits at what you actually want, lets the artist's imagination wander with appropriate parameters and as a bonus - you had a direct hand in the pic's conceptualisation. GenAI robs both sides of imagination and that's fucking miserable imo.

I finally played New Vegas, and man it really is the tightest written of the 3D games isn't it? Sure, 3 is ugly and bad, 4 is prettier and bad, and 76 makes Mr House's ultimate vision of a sleazy profit-monger's paradise a reality irl (and is bad), but nothing nails the narrative like New Vegas did.
