5 years of Speak Less β€’β€’ we couldn’t be where we are without the lessons we learned when writing, recording, and releasing this EP. it wasn’t what people expected from us; it was angsty and cold, but it helped us embrace who we were and how we wanted to be perceived.

Algorithms and industry people prefer when you don't change your sound but all that us and our peers want to do is genre exploration. It makes me wonder where a general music listener sits in between these two

Wanted to post the clip of me mic grabbing for Daoboys but the file is too big 😭 It's on other platforms if you feel like looking ‼️‼️ Love the Daoboys so much, so grateful to be friends with them and call them peers. Their creativity and talent is super inspiring, and their ascent is well-deserved

i did a joke that i am anthony green's daughter on a tiktok and it's the only successful video post featuring just us/us performing our music. i hate that the inflammatory shit works. i wish any of our regular old posts where i'm not writing some stupid hook were enough

I always thought this song had a lil magic in it but that's not really something you can make people feel. Much to my surprise, that's exactly what a lot of people felt hearing this song for the first time. For once in my life, reading the YouTube comments was the best thing I could have done.

I don't know if we'll ever top this, I really wanted people to just find this when it dropped because it's so difficult to promote a song the older it gets. Even if it's really good. I really don't want to have to worry about recreating this magic. But we will try.
