🚨 BREAKING: Don Lemon was arrested in LA following a protest connected to a disrupted church service in Minnesota. This is an assault on independent journalism. Think about it. The right has tightened its grip on large chunks of mainstream media, but it can’t fully control independent voices.

This is terrible. It is also an opportunity for certain journalists to finally speak up with a *fraction* of the courage the people of Minneapolis have shown. It is also instructive that Lemon is Black. Woe/pox etc upon white journalists who don’t freak out about this.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that all four people arrested today, including two journalists, were Black. And now we find out the charge is “conspiracy to violate civil rights,” a statute rooted in the Ku Klux Klan Act. Sit with that.

This new file released appears to show Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick discussing visiting Epstein's island in 2012. Lutnick previously claimed that he cut off ties around 2005 with Epstein after being revolted by him.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.
