Trump has no freaking idea what he’s doing… Last night, the US launched another attack on Iran during a ceasefire, supposedly because Iran wasn’t negotiating well enough. Over 90 days ago, Trump declared victory. Since then, he’s told us an Iran deal was “right around the corner” overv38 times.

The Strait of Hormuz is closed, he ‘loves’ that inflation is spiking, and we’re closer to a wider war than we are to a peace deal.

Mark this moment. This is where the endgame begins—though it might take two years to play out. A President of the United States is openly linking the *Pentagon* and rigging elections for his party. He is framing an authoritarian takeover as something the *U.S. military* wants.

The natural endpoint of this comes sometime in the next two years, with Trump announcing that the Armed Forces must be deployed domestically to combat foreign election interference. He'll say Congress' failure to pass the SAVE Act forced him and the military to end our democracy.

In our form of democracy, there's *no role whatsoever* for the Pentagon in domestic elections. Yet the president just *inextricably linked the two*, having already had his openly Christofascist War Secretary deploy the military domestically in 2025. This is going to get so bad.

And I wouldn't comfort yourself with the idea that a Hegseth-led USAF would never do this. It would. Nor would I seek solace in the idea that *any* assemblage of U.S. citizens could possibly stand against a Hegseth-led USAF. It couldn't. We're *waltzing* into a fascist state.

Before the end, I fear that all Americans will understand only too well what many of us already do—namely, *why* Pete Hegseth made his *top priority* ensuring that no women or non-whites or non-Republicans will be in key command positions on the day he does what he's going to do.

I have been a vocal critic of gerrymandering. But the Supreme Court has unleashed the Republican Party on a gerrymandering spree. Democrats must respond in kind, removing any incentive for Republican states to gerrymander. This isn’t a race to the bottom. It’s a means of avoiding the bottom.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but what’s going on in the south right now with voting rights and erasure, is a “kitchen table issue” — for Black families. And it should be for everyone.

The messed up thing is if Virginia had passed a map weakening the Black vote it would have held up in court.

Voter approved maps are illegal but Republican lawmakers approving a Republican drawn map to weaken the Black vote is legal.

The orange felon inspected his destructive repainting of the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool by having his entire motorcade drive right on top of it. I truly hate him.

The MAGA controlled Virginia Supreme Court just ruled to overturn the Democratic redistricting referendum approved by voters last month. Voters are the ones who approved this in an election and criminals on the bench nullified it. Pure fascism.

And where is the outrage from mainstream media outlets over this? Crickets. 🦗

Because Trump is the absolute worst of us.
