Today, I ponder a world where the werewolves have researched the humans before taking over the world. They blessed and healed the therians as allies. They kept the furries around as harmless entertainment. The useless humans were simply slaughtered.

While washing my hands, I felt a lot of remnants of food on the back. I had the thought "It'll take a bit of scrubbing to get this out of my fur." Then I realized I used the word fur and was both amused and a little sad.

Watched an episode of Criminal Minds featuring someone who identified with snakes, this person being one of "my people." Someone who was treated better by snakes than by humans and thus wanted to become more snakelike. The extent to which this was done and the mental delusion implications...

You know how sometimes you see someone who looks familiar in your peripheral, but when you look properly, you realize it's someone else? Does anyone else experience that with fursuiters?

Today's #WerewolfWednesday thought: Werewolf streamer who laments that their monthly transformation streams get far more views than their other videos. The werewolf does them only because it pays the bills.

I read this as humans like wolves, but unfortunately they hate *other* humans more.

Wolves are often framed as a polarizing issue, despite widespread support. New research shows political identity can increase division, even when people agree. Finding common ground and recognizing shared support for wolves may be key to protecting their future. 🔗 https://bit.ly/44Xqj1b

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars. OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

On the way to pick up a free burger, I did some Markov chain calculations. The expected value of a Brewers game is 1/8190 of a George Webb burger.* * Assuming each game is independent with a 50% chance of victory and that the end of a season doesn't end the streak.

This past #WerewolfWednesday was probably one of the best ones for me in recent history. While chatting with my werewolf buddies, I learned how they still remember one of my werewolf stories from many years ago. The warm fuzzy feelings inspire me to return to writing more werewolf goodness.

You are up to date.
