While putting together a slide show of my mother's life for a memorial tribute, I came across this picture. My mom was born in 1932. I estimate that this picture was taken around 1935. She loved animals and we always had cats and dogs while we were growing up.

A lot of big problems are too complicated for simple solutions. Some things have too much nuance to fit on a bumper sticker or protest sign. The Russia-Ukraine war is not one of these things.
