We held our annual Harvest Picnic this past weekend, and our whole team is filled with gratitude! So many members of our community joined for a festive celebration and to raise much needed funds for our animal rescue work. What a joyous, special day! Image Credit: @natalielee.studio

In July, two of our caregivers were on the road to assist a sanctuary that needed to find homes for all of their animals. They were on a major highway and suddenly spotted a terrified hen!! They were able to catch her, and get her safely back here to the Sanctuary. They named her Marilyn.

This past July, Oscar took a trip to the hospital for a fracture in his leg. He’s been on stall rest alone for months… until now! Oscar has been happily reunited with his friends and they couldn’t be more excited 🐽🌸 We are so happy to see him continuing to heal. We love you little Oscar!! 💕

This is a special week to celebrate the beautiful rescueversary of Pia and her twin brother Zia, who arrived in 2017. We said goodbye to the exceptionally friendly Zia last year after a battle with Lymphoma. Pia and our team misses him everyday. Cheers to these wonderful twins!! 🐐💕🐐

Three years ago we worked for weeks and weeks to catch a sheep who was living in a cemetery in Beacon NY. It took so much work and patience, but we got her to safety. In this video you can see how trusting she was becoming after a few weeks as she bounces toward the food station for breakfast❤️

Our sweet Oscar was cleared for his cast removal! Since he's an older gentlemen, his leg remains a bit stiff while he works on moving it again.  While he continues to heal, Oscar is soaking up some extra sun. Thanks to all who contributed to his care! 🐷💕

We’re so sorry to be writing with some difficult news. After over a decade of care, our friend Ruby the senior goat has passed away. Thank you for helping her to live many amazing years in sanctuary, alongside her friends and family. We will miss this smiley girl so much.
