When MS shuts WoW down, the last patch will feature the player looking through time for the progenitor. We will find him, after he worked to remove himself from the timeline, and bring him to the origins of life on Azeroth so that all races can evolve from him, from the one, from Me'dan.

Turns out the even in the console wars, the only winning move was not to play.

This is also one of the most humbling parts of working on a big IP. As a fan, you see each universe as a, at minimum, intentional decision factory. Then you join the army of professionals... making stuff up to hit deadlines. Not a bad thing! Just, how the thing you love was made in the first place.
