Today, on the 3rd anniversary of Maddy Cusack's tragic passing. Sheffield United Women fans Saffron and Katie held a flag reading "Maddy Cusack Never Forgotten" in tribute to their former player and a life taken far too soon.

Less than 3 weeks left to go until our fundraiser at St. James' STACK. With a quiz, raffle, and live music, it's going to be so much fun again! Funds raised go straight into Wor Flags future displays. 🎟️ Get your tickets now: worflags.org.uk/fundraiser

It was a brilliant flashback on Saturday seeing the L7 Leazes Corner all standing and singing. Turning that corner back into a place for constant atmosphere is a must, hats off to those giving it a go up there, keep going... 💪 Banner incoming?! 😉

Did you know our volunteers collect, de-pole, and take home many of our waver flags throughout the season to wash? Thousands of flags go through this every season to try to keep them clean, fresh and ensure we can reuse as many as possible for as long as possible.

At the match? Why not try a nice cold pint of NCL Flags, a donation from each pint goes towards our displays! 📸 Photo is Bealim House on Gallowgate 🍻

Working hard to get the flags back up in level 7 this evening ahead of Saturday's match. Will never get tired of the view of our beautiful city from up here!

Tomorrow night is the return of cup football to St, James’ Park. Even though it’s still August and we know you’re all geet hard and don’t feel the cold that still means one thing #BringYourScarf

Yesterday we were delighted to be joined by Newcastle United Under 18s straight after their 3-2 win over Stoke City. It was great to have the opportunity to share a bit about what we do with our next generation of players.

🖤🤍 Final preparations underway for tomorrow's Kevin Keegan display! 🖤🤍 Our volunteers have been at work getting the pulley flag ready for match day. If you haven't already chipped in, please consider donating. Every penny makes a difference. 👉 worflags.org.uk/donate

Tickets on sale now, for our fundraiser at St, James’ Stack on Sunday 4 October from midday onwards! It’s during the international break so you can either sit at home and be bored or come along and have a good time! Get your tickets: worflags.org.uk/fundraiser/

🇧🇷 Bruno, thank you for the memories we’ve shared together over 4 and a half years. Just don’t expect us to be as nice to you when you return in a red and white shirt! 🖤🤍

Reading your comments today, the lack of real variation to vote on and not including the option for fans to choose the current crest is incredibly disappointing. If you do have an opinion, please do select an option you prefer.

This does however feel like we’ve all been playing a big game of spot the difference today and we’re not sure the consultation process on this has been anywhere near thorough or open enough for such an important decision.

17 days to go until our season opener and what feels like a new era beginning against Liverpool. We’re finalising our plans to pay tribute to Kevin Keegan so please if you can, donate to help us create a special spectacle. worflags.org.uk/donate/

As part of our display vs Liverpool we plan to involve every seat in the ground. Knowing how much King Kev means to the fans of both clubs, we’re also including the away end and have been in touch with spionkop1906 as part of our planning. If you’d like to donate: worflags.org.uk/donate/

The pricing for our friendly against Everton is nothing short of a disgrace. A standard seat behind the goal will cost an adult £70+ once fees are included. A reminder, this is a Friendly, kicking off at 5:15pm midweek 90+ miles away. Football has a serious problem.

A week tomorrow we will be paying tribute to a club legend ahead of his final game in black and white at St, James’ Park. Every Newcastle United fan knows how important he has been and it is our opportunity to say thank you. Help us give him a send off in style: worflags.org.uk/donate/

Tomorrow we’ll be supporting @srtrcengland.bsky.social ‘First 11 Black Players’ project. This is a display that has been planned for a while now, and is more than a tribute to some great players from our club’s history, it’s also a mark of our support for the work of Show Racism the Red Card.
