hey maybe a hot take but I'm not sure I mind this whole youtube views update as much as some others. sure it's inconvenient and misleading but also numbers go brrrrrrrr

so i just smelled the delicious aroma of fresh bread, mmm, figured my neighbour must be having toast or something. what a delicious smell, how jealous then realised it's the bread that I've BEEN BAKING ALL DAY

we are not the same!!! you consume short-form content, dulling your dopamine receptors via immediate gratification whereas I merely: - eat maple syrup by the spoonful - eat sugar directly from the jar - cut slices of cheddar straight from the block - just munch on pure salted butter sometimes, tbh

hey so i contribute to this substack now, wherein @tildesounds.bsky.social and other people far smarter than me suggest some cool free resources for musicians/producers every month. however i'm a contrarian little freak, so my suggestion was a @netshaq.bsky.social video instead

never mind, the output jack just died mid-recording after 7 years of service see the thing about me is actually i don't much care for bass

boy oh boy do i really just love playing bass palm muted, with a pick it's great because you don't even really have to be good. in my case that is absolutely key

hahahahahahahaha what a great day to not be: a) just completely and hopelessly spineless b) a bigot

got a big bag of shallots last month and i'm still finding those little guys in the bottom of the fridge weeks later. the gift that keeps on giving, i think i'm shallot pilled now

hey it's me with another fun toaster fact. so it also turns out that the settings above 2 are actually useful?? like you just use them for crumpets etc and then you don't have to put the crumpet back down a bunch of times to achieve crispiness. life is beautiful and there's so much to learn

You are up to date.
