digital art is fun but it's really impossible to beat the joys of ballpoint pen+printer paper (especially if the ballpoint pen is close to dying like mine currently is)

I've given up on trying to maintain a cohesive "style" but you know I drew something when it's like, very obviously drawn on a folded piece of paper with something printed on the back and has bleedthrough stains from other drawings. Is it an aesthetic choice or laziness? Who's to say :^)

A friend of mine gave me the idea of scanning in blank sketchbook spreads and sketching on them digitally to sort of ease the discomfort of digital sketching. I've been trying it out and really enjoying it so far

I need to go through my old sketchbooks and organize them and potentially even digitize them. It would take ages since there's easily over 100 and they go all the way back to like 2008 but there's some really neat stuff in there I found yesterday that's never seen the light of day.

I used to draw soooo much bro and it was never even with the intention to show anyone, I'm just a really restless person and I need to do something with my hands. It's funny how little has changed through the years though, basically all my old sketchbooks are just. anime girls and dragons.

Digging through old sketchbooks yesterday and I found the first ever sketches I made of my oc Miss Tulpa. Kind of cool because she's my oldest oc at this point and I thought I had lost these sketches ages ago.
