MIDI is a very underappreciated part of retro gaming. Back in the '90s, developers added support for Roland MT-32 and SC-55 for studio-quality sound. MIDI games are very rare outside of PC games. Illusion City is an excellent example of an epic RPG on MSX with full MIDI music. It got a translation several months back and I'm still enjoying it. Does anyone know of any other non-PC/DOS/Windows epic retro games with full MIDI music?
