Take a Break, my debut album, releases in NOVEMBER! Album art by @biggoron.quest

I started writing my first full original composition yesterday and it’s going a LOT smoother than I’d have thought!

Bruh comment on literally any other recent video of mine where my arrangements have actually been changed based on personal preference, not the near 1 to 1 recreation of a 16-bar loop. These people are funny.

Might drop something big soon. I dunno

Very curious to see what MAGFest does to combat the early sellout. I guess if they had certain events occupying other hotels in the harbor it would allow occupancy to be raised a bit but I imagine that’d be such a big logistical hurdle for a comparatively small gain. Anyway, excited to see friends!

The MAGFest™ Experience

I swear the shakuhachi feels like a different instrument every day. It’s so odd

The Mario Kart World OST Stream was fun.

Not much music left! Tune in! Twitch.tv/xanderplute

Shakuhachi of Time has a nice ring to it

Leaving the door wide open for the headphone dent monster

Yoshi’s Island DS rocked my world as a kid

Not the cleanest take. Some days just feel worse than others with this thing but that’s ok

VGM friends, what companies have you had success with designing shirts and other merch such as CDs? I’m aiming to make a simple shirt with my logo on it but also maybe look into some more complex designs so I’m looking for manufacturers allowing for a bit more freedom in design placement

Melty Monster Galaxy

I’ve been playing the shakuhachi daily for about two weeks now and the progress that’s allowed me to make already is kinda nuts.

A classic for you all this evening

Continuing these posts in an effort to lock in on the daily shakuhachi grind

So… anyone down for a Mario Kart World Streaming marathon?

Some more Mario Galaxy for tonight

Surprise new flute day! Was thrifting for new apartment stuff with my partner and stumbled across this flute made by Bina India for $10! I believe it’s a bansuri, an Indian flute I’ve actually been wanting for awhile, and it plays really well! Just have to dial in the intonation.

Another move means another day of figuring out how the fuck to safely pack all these guys up

Cement truck driver: “Hey, your mix is looking a little dry.” Me: “Oh shit, lemme slap some reverb on it.” It was a sloppy pour today

May or may not be halfway through arranging my second album before I’ve even officially announced my FIRST one… I’ve bern uh… very inspired, to say the least.

My fellow clubbed thumbers we have been SEEN

I love you, MonolithSoft.

Love texting my dad. (Crete is concrete, to whom it may concern)

I could be paid $40/hour to generate slop for voice ‘actors’ to mindlessly read off. If only I were a meritless loser…
