My Rent experience is when the original touring company came to Boston, I took my most artistic, bohemian friend to see it. She made giant sculptures and didn’t believe in selling them, that sort of free spirit. Halfway through act 1, she turned to me and said, “Why don’t these people get jobs?”

Seth Moulton has been my state rep for far too long, and the fact that he got trounced by Markey AND is leaving his seat because he thought he could weasel his way into the Senate is just too delicious.

Hour 3 of a Halloween flea/art market and I’m feeling too old for vending in person, lol. Or at least night markets. I want to be in my bed.

It’s hard to act inconspicuous when you’re carrying a fake bloody chainsaw through a college campus. This is my second time I two years building props for a production of Evil Dead the Musical.

"The Bridge." This is a concept I've had in my head for a while now, and it's close to what I want to do, but I need to build my miniature skills a bit. Two lonely meteorites staying together through a rough wooden rope bridge hits my romantic weirdo heart a little bit. Submitted to a gallery show.

Eight years ago, I played Bill in "August, Osage County." One of the most difficult roles I ever had, but such a great time.

This month, I'm running a "Reverse Trick or Treat" at my company, asking for nonperishable groceries to fill the Little Free Pantries in my home town. My coworkers were generous enough in Week 1 to fill two whole pantries full!

The Muppet Movie, but every Muppet is played by a different, lesser-known Muppet. Janice from the Electric Mayhem Band is played by Zendaya.

Horror remakes where everyone but one actor is replaced by Muppets. Starting with Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I went to the art auction where my larger piece was up for bidding, and met the woman who bought its companion piece last auction. She was so thrilled to meet me, and I was so excited to finally meet the person who liked my art enough to beat out other bidders for it!

I used the same colors from the tiny canvases last night on a couple of wood panels I’d bought at Walmart the last time I pet sat. I like the moody vibe.

The quips and rudimentary judo performed in front of a blue screen are excellent in this version, I hear.

Two pairs of spooky eyeballs painted. Taking these to a Halloween night market in October, but also will have options for you to buy on my site tonight.

A theater colleague just sent me a Zoom project I wrote in 2021, a reimagining of "Tartuffe" written in anapestic tetrameter (Dr. Seuss rhymes). The very first actor onscreen was a lovely woman we shortly thereafter lost to Covid. My heart.

Rose doesn’t often grace us with process videos, but I love the peek into a great talent showing her work. Excellence in action.
