Rand Paul and The Rs on Homeland Sec committee, which just voted on straight party lines to refer Fauci for contempt, are an absolute kangaroo court. The Hollywood 10 were convicted of contempt during McCarthy days; and this will go down in history as a similar moment of opprobrium and insanity.

The Democrats last night put forth a number of Amendments that the Republicans immediately shot down. Please be sure to put them on the record for these votes… They proposed no tax cuts for anyone who makes a billion dollars a year. They voted NO

They voted yes on whether or not Elon Musk and DOGE should have limitless access to Americans’ personal data. They made them vote on whether to protect IVF and require insurers to cover it. They voted no

Every single amendment Democrats proposed was shot down. On almost every single amendment, Republicans universally opposed it. Every Republican voted against our proposal to prevent more tax cuts for billionaires. The corruption and theft is happening in the open here. Please hold them accountable.
